Come on by guys. It's a good campaign. If you've got an interesting idea, that won't fit into most campaigns, this is a good place for it, with a good and flexible GM.
I think the main thing keeping players from applying is the $50 buy in.
Yes, the player's version is cheaper, and I definitely understand the hesitancy to buy in if you don't already have it. I think we were hoping to find some people that did have it already.
I have Realm Works, and no-one else I know does - I'd love to see how it works if you don't mind.
I'm not sure whether it's going to lend itself to the experience. That has me worried about committing.
Well, I have gotten it set up with the gm (who is currently camping and has no Internet) that I will upload the necessary things to Google docs and those who do not want to buy realm Works do not have to. So come on by and give this game a go.
TLDR; realm Works is no longer a requirement.

Apparently there is a $5 player version, but yeah having to pay to play a campaign isn't super attractive.
Though honestly I'm really not a fan of how much these guys charge for their systems.
Add the fact that you have to subscribe on top of the $50 in order for people to connect to you.... yeah no.
One of our players found an alternative to using Realm works if you are still interested. We'd love to see you r ideas and as the dm I guarantee I am inventive enough to work with almost anything you want to throw at me. I have been doing this for almost 15 yrs as dm in Real life and playing for almost 23 yrs in various systems like earthdawn shadow run vampire requiem d&d 2, 3, 3.5 and some gurps. I have Never had a player quit because we could not accomadate or negotiate play style and options.
