Unsurprisingly, I run a lot of Pathfinder, and 3.5 before that. I also ADORE Mutants and Masterminds and the various incarnations of the World of Darkness. I also love Eclipse Phase, but I've only run a single game of it; the world is excellent, but the system didn't jibe with me or my players.

So... I am kind of teetering between two concepts right now for an upcoming game:
Both of these concepts always use diplomacy as their first answer to confrontation. However, after this has failed, different things happen:
1. Damaia Travaris: Actual Pacifist with a Superpowered Evil Side. Damaia is an Abyssal Bloodrager with a massive Diplomacy modifier. She always tries to talk things out, even when everybody is unsheathing their swords and readying their spells. When hit, she hulks out and becomes a combat beast. After combat, she may spend a little time crying, before stoically getting up and moving on.
2. Bethany Lukerios: Martial Pacifist. She's a Flowing Monk with again, a good Diplomacy bonus, and has the Bludgeoner feat to deal only nonlethal damage with her attacks when she's not repositioning opponents. Diplomacy is always her first option, but when things get heavy, she reluctantly kicks ass.
Damaia sounds like a Kellid tribal princess I played a year or so back. She was half-Taldan and a proper young lady, but demons kidnapped her as a child to sacrifice to Baphomet, but her paladin brother rescued her before they could finish, leaving a shard of something dark in her heart. She was a courteous, quiet, well-mannered young woman until injured or backed into a corner, then she'd hulk out and rip apart whatever came near her, before changing back with almost no memory. Best way to play a barbarian ever, IMHO
Both your concepts sound cool, but obviously I'm a little biased towards one.

Try Transhuman Space. Or adapt it's rules to Eclipse Phase.

"Crystal, did you seriously name the werewolf in this adventure 'Wolf?"
And I said yes. And Mark sighed in that way Mark sighs. And then he turned around and left.
Because "Vilk" is Polish for "wolf."
*chuckles*
Who revealed your little jest to Mark?
Uh...
Wait...
We had a presidential candidate this year named Jack Wolf...
He hadn't got much support, though, ca. 68 thousand votes.
You think that Polish werewolf population voted for him? I don't think I have enough silver for that...

Frankly, that's no biggie. Tell that Smoreland guy to bugger off and instead he should ask the relevant person why didn't they check the Danish dictionary while naming Harsk, the iconic dwarf.
However, if you named the NPC "Kurva" or "Wyebana" ... there would be consequences.

What? Oh, that letter in the middle? It's the way Polish renders the sound that English for unfathomable reason usually write down as 'w'. 'y' is very short sound, making it something like zwi
You can hear it pronounced here

Crystal, do you know why Pazio does not have a great orc race [Urukk Hai Orc].
We do have a great orc race. they're call half-orcs!
If you're just looking for spiffier base orcs, though, you can add the Advance or Fiendish simple templates to the basic orc to get a meaner version on the fly.
Do you draw your avatar's art work she of the unspellable name.
No, even Paizo employee can't get our own artwork as avatars on the boards. That way lies madness.
Is Merisel's voice as sexy as yours? Why are Merisel's ears so big? They are not proportioned like legolas's ears. Does Merisel get a perception bonus for having such large beautiful ears. "Glances over shoulder to check if Merisel is behind me."
Merisiel's ears are so big because she does a lot of eavesdropping and listening at doors to notice every time someone talks about her, and they aren't proportioned like Legolas's ears because Legolas is fictional.
Wait, how do you know what my voice sounds like?

Was Brambleson and the general role of rabbits in the story of the Rabbit Prince inspired by those medieval artworks of rabbits with weapons attacking people? Cuz' that makes them even MORE awesome!
On a not quite unrelated note, I need to pick up a copy of The Harrowing now.
Pssht! What? No! I mean, I'd need an art degree or an anthropology degree to have heard of those before they became big on the internet.
*kicks art degree and anthropology degree under the bed*

One of our Polish PFS players. He refused to give me the source. He knows my philosophy on narcs.
You think that Polish werewolf population voted for him? I don't think I have enough silver for that...
All I'm gonna say is that I'll back the candidate who seems like they understand my struggles.

OK Crystal, there are only two questions I need answered and they are perhaps the most important questions in the Known Universe.
First, Stout or Pale Ale?
Is that even a question? What kind of world would it be if anyone chose a pale ale over a stout?
Second, sharks or monkeys?
You ask this as if we didn't like in a world blessed with the miracle of genetic engineering...

In a more serious vein, when you are putting together an adventure, what is your process? Is it an extended endeavor (work on it, put it down, pick it back up, rinse and repeat) or is it a focused task that starts and completes in a single go (before edits and revisions)?
My process involves a lot of research and note-taking early on, then immediately followed by an outlining stage to get all my ideas on paper. Then I usually let things sit for a week to ferment in my head, then I come back and review and make new notes. When I finally start writing, I like to begin in the middle, then jump back to the intro (sometimes I'll jump between the two), and then finally write the end. I can NEVER write a project from start to finish; I need to start somewhere in the midst.
Once the writing is finished, I like to let it sit at least a week so I forget everything. Then I re-read everything, groan a lot, and fix all that s**%. Then I run a spellcheck and finally send it it.

Crystal, if you know ALL the things, when some new thing comes about, does this mean you are the first person to know about the thing, before anyone else in the world?
No, I only know the answer to the thing before anyone else.
For example: Erstwhile Badger.
I have no idea what that is the answer to.

That sounds right up there with that Australian horror movie about WereSheep.

Whaaaat? I've read the whole thing, and missed it then... unless you mean Mythic JMD031's question, in which case it was only "Things?" (plus some bumping!) instead of of "ALL THE THINGS!!!" (lacking the all*-important "all" and triple exclamation marks from the thread title), though I could see how your response of "Stuff." could also be taken as "ALL THE STUFF!!!", presupposing that by "Things?" he meant "ALL THE THINGS!!!" in a colloquial sort of way.
Very well, I shall accept your answer. For now.
* Heh. For you, JMD. For you.
