Andi has been a mentor to me, a friend, a GM whose talents are excellent and whose communication skills are unparallelled. I first met Andi right after we were both promoted to Venture-Lieutenant at DunDraCon in February 2013. She was taking charge coordinating the numerous PFS tables at the convention even though she did not volunteer for that job and at that point I knew that she was the type of VL I wanted to emulate. Throughout the years I have become close friends with her, asking for her guidance when I need it, learning tips and tricks to being a better GM as well as a better Venture Officer, and offering the same back to her whenever she might need it. In my opinion, Andi is the best type of person to represent the greater PFS community; a GM who has a great depth of rules knowledge, the ability to tell an enriching story through unique characterizations and clever role-playing, and the aspirations to create a community wherein we introduce the next generation into the hobby that we all love.

It is my distinct honor to introduce Andrea Brandt as Northern California's newest 5 Star GM.

If I were in charge of things I'd give all the stars for all her hard work all over Northern California

As someone who has gamed with and observed Andrea on multiple occasions, I heartily approve! Congrats, Andi!

Congrats Andrea! I knew you'd be just behind me ;). Andrea took me under her wing when I first started playing PFS. She showed me how rewarding it can be to give back to my PFS community and taught me how to be a better GM through her feed back and example. We've had a friendly race to see who could hit 5 stars first, but honestly I can never equal her impact on Northern California community.

Painlord should be along shortly. He got distracted counting all his kobold kills in our Dragon's Demand game.

Well done and congratulations

I'm so incredibly very, very, very proud of my better half!

(And sometimes exhausted just from watching! But I've also enjoyed an abundance of wonderfully fun scenarios along the way!)

Congratulations Andi - a long road, and a worthy recipient on so many fronts.

Congrats and thanks for the hard work! I really want to get to Nor-Cal and see what great things are going on there.

Is this "Verdigris" we are talking about? If so she is awesome. I was just getting my feet wet with roll20 and needed a couple questions answered.

Painlord asked me to shoot her a PM. She not only answered my question fully, but she threw in extra advice I found very useful. I can't say enough good things about her

Please forgive my lateness to this party, I was really busy correcting someone on kobold slaying...

Anyhoot, congratulations, Verdigris!

I remember the day I invented Andi...she came to an early gameday I organized in late 2009 or early 2010. We ran Mists of Mwangi and Hydra's Fang (I think) on a Saturday.

Young, eager, bright-eyed Verdigris came out to play...so full of hope and good cheer. She was a marvel and all smiles.

And 5 years later, despite my best efforts, I could never get her to realize that this is all a dumb, silly game and she was way too good for us. I completely failed to crush her spirit or her sense of fun.

*sigh*

She remains *the* most helpful and pleasant PFSer I've ever met. She helped me organize at least 5 big PFS conventions, added countless hours of behind-the-scenes work, and find time to GM like an all-star.

Meh...I don't like the star system for the most part, but now I additionally think it's wholly insufficient that there are only 5 stars to show what Andi has contributed to the game and to the community.

Congrats, Andi. You're more than a PFSer, you're a friend.

I keep thinking I can finally post, then someone else says something so nice, I'm blown away again. Thank you for all the kind words and awesome memories. I quite sincerely couldn't have done it without all of the awesome friends I have made along the way.

Nefreet, I am planning on playing more and GMing less for a little while, and hold out hope that at least one of those games will be at your table.

Congratulations Andrea and well deserved!! I learned a lot from you and others during GM 101 and 201 at PaizoCon 2013 and I have appreciated every piece of information you have passed (especially the Yes, but instead of No, you can't). I have taken that into every game I have GMd since. Thank you for everything and congratulations on that 5th star!!

Congratulations Andi! What a pleasure it has been to play with you. You really class up a table, which makes it all the more fun to debauch it back down...
