Pathfinder online account deactivated and game time gone before I have even had access to game.

I just received 2 emails this morning at 3:19 am, eastern, telling me that my game time had expired and if I did not setup auto bill my account would expire in 6 days, then at 3:19 also another email saying my account expired.

I bought into both kickstartes, almost $200. Included in that is 2 months game time. Up until now my account has not had any access to the game at all. I was actually complaining a while back about having spent so much on the kick starters and not having access to the game. And now my account is expired before I even get to play?

I am assuming this is probly just a mistake of some sort.

Has any one else gotten these emails?

I got 2 emails saying

"Dear ZomoZ,

Your Pathfinder Online account has been deactivated. Your account did not have any remaining game time credits and you did not configure your account for automatic billing. Your characters are not training XP and you will not be able to log into the game until you reactivate your account.

To reactivate your account, please visit your Subscription page and update your automatic billing settings. Or you can purchase additional months of Game Time at the store and then reactivate your account on the Subscription page.

We really enjoy having you participate in our community and hope you're not planning on taking a hiatus. If you are having any technical difficulties our customer service team is standing by to help. Just email customer.support@goblinworks.com.

Thanks for your continued support.

then 10 seconds later I recieved

"Dear ZomoZ,

In -5 days your Pathfinder Online game account will be deactivated unless you purchase additional game time credit or configure your account for automatic billing.

When your account is deactivated your characters will cease training XP and you will not be able to log into the game. In order to avoid any interruption in training XP you need to have updated your account by purchasing a unit of game time or setting your account for automatic billing within the next -5 days.

We really enjoy having you participating in our community and want to make sure you don't miss any XP or have any problems logging into the game. Please arrange for continued game time as soon as you can.

Please visit your Subscription page to set up automatic billing. Or you can purchase additional months of Game Time at the store.

Thanks for your continued support,

The Goblinworks Team

This is wrong on multiple accounts since 1) I have like 20 days left before my kickstarter time runs out and am in game playing now and 2) I have already put in to sub for a year after that... so its either a scam to get your info or goblinworks pressing red buttons labeled do not press this button.

I've got accounts still running and haven't seen this as yet. However, I thought that once a subscription ended we'd still be playing, but not able to earn XP or craft. Did that change at some point?

There's been discussion of a plan for non-earning play, but at the moment, if you don't have a subscription you can't log in to the world.

Did you log in at all, even if you didn't create characters?

During the first while, logging in to the client started your timer, even if you never entered the world.

If you launched the game client and logged in at any time after Jan 1, 2015 then the timer started on your accounts whether you created characters or not. The only way to stop the timer at that point was to go to your subscription management page in your account on Goblinworks and suspend it. If you or someone who knew your password never launched the client and logged in, then it is a mistake.

The end of some people's free time is near, and many email notifications will be going out. Perhaps you got caught in it. To verify, you can log into your account at the Goblinworks website and check what your pledge package or purchase allowed to you, and whether your game account is active or not. Some people have misunderstood what they were entitled to by their kickstarter donation, and its worth clarifying that before you contact customer support at Goblinworks. They do not monitor the forums here "routinely" any longer.

If you logged in but never created any characters, you might have a case for getting your time back. If you have any characters created, with XP, you are in a different position.

Just got email from customer support. The emails were indeed a mistake.
Thanks for all the replys and attempted help.
