Wizard / Sorcerer Build advice

Advice

Hello all. I am new to pathfinder and have talked to a few members about this build. I am about to be level 2 so I am getting everything down to start on a good path. So this is what I have going on now.

HUMAN Admixture Wizard 1 and Cross blooded Sorcerer 1 (Draconian Red/ Orc Bloodline).
Feats: Spell Focus Evocation, Spell Specialization Burning Hands, and Intensified Spell Burning Hands.

Traits: Magical Lineage and Reactionary.

The plan is to continue the Wizard line and pick feats that help with evocation such as burning hands and fireball. What are your thoughts and suggestions?

Thanks everyone!

I'd suggest looking into taking one or two of the traits that lowers the Cost of applying metamagic feats. It's only for 1 spell, but it can make some pretty powerful fireballs or burning hands.

Silver Crusade

You are on a wise and effective path. One could argue that dipping sorcerer, for extra damage and delayed casting, was non-optimal, while others will argue the damage increase is totally worth the loss of a caster level. Most who do this dip wait until 5th level Wiard, so they get Fireball first. Personally, I don't think the dip is worth it, but that's just opinion.

Grand Lodge

A few good scenario and modules to play through with an evoked:

In wrath's shadow- The veil that is on the chronical sheet is a lesser empower mask. It is a nice little piece for a evoker.

Fangwood keep- this has a nice boon for spellbooks users. Allows free spells to be put into your book. This also grants you a whole level. Lastly the vanity is not that bad at all. This is one I would try to play as soon as I hit the proper level to play it.

Also posting to give you a bump and maybe more input.

If you are new, you should just stick to Wizard.

Here is a guide I tote out for blaster casters. Keep in mind I didn't design it, I just copy and bring it out since it comes up so often.

For most cases, Fireball ends up being your Go To spell until at least 15th level, so the build, for you, is going to end with Fireball.

You've got the correct start. Just need to up your caster level now. Varisian Tattoo replaces what you lost.

Since you never get Spell Perfection you'll probably want to grab Spell Penetration, too.

Awesome. Thank you guys for the advice. I feel this will be a good character.
