Okay, sorry about the many threads, phone locked up and didn't load. So medium is the best way to go to at least get a small feel of David?

Hello everyone, just started watching legion, and have to say, it's really good. I want to build a character around David. However, I don't know much about him other than the show (don't read the comics). So with that, I just want to make sure he is PFS legal, and the race can change, I know he won't match up exactly. I just want something close that will be fun to play during a session. Was thinking mesmerist, or maybe spiritualist? Your thoughts and suggestions are always welcome!

I think I am going full mesmerist, and will use wands. With a high charisma it should be very easy. I am having issues with the stats however. I know I don't need strength, but as a gnome (which I could change to halfling if it is better somehow), it drops even lower.

Well darn. I still want to be the face of the party with skills. No combat other than spells.

That's a good option, but I am looking into a character that helps himself more than the other pc's. I was thinking of mask misery to protect myself. The cult master sounds really neat to help my allies have a better attack, but I really going for my guy to cause the enemy to give up, attack it's own allies or fail will saves from spells that harm it in some way like phantom killer I think it's called.

Thank you for the quick ad! This character is being used pathfinder society play. So everything that is legal for that. I didn't think I got bonus spells for my cha. Also I do have that at a 20.

Hello all. I am making a new character and would like to build a mesmerist. I have read the guide that is online and found it somewhat helpful. I need advice on making the mesmerist more of a spell caster and battlefield controller. The guide doesn't really get into those areas. I don't want to be in combat but I would like others to do my bidding. Really like the -2 to will with the stare. Thinking of cult master archtype to help my allies. My biggest concern is the amount of spells the mesmerist gets. Only 1 spell at 1st level? It seems very weak for this class. Any advice will be welcome.

Yes I am locked in with celestial. We are in the wrath of righteousness campaign so fighting evil outsiders will hopefully come up. Also it fits with my background history.

Hey guys I need help with the bloodrager. Home campaign so pfs legal stuff doesn't matter. Right now I am locked in as a tiefling bloodrager with the crossblooded archtype. I have taken the aybssal and celestial bloodlines. Plan is to have an earth breaker hammer. What feats can I take that get me ridiculous attack and damage? I am the tank of the group and we have plenty of healers. Stats are str. 18, dex. 14, con. 14, int. 8, wis. 10, cha. 14.

Thank you all for the future help!

I think the plan for the group is to be Aasamir race and then we all have a different class. That is why I am Aasimar. I will search for your builds. Thank you!

Well as I was looking around, I do like the warpreist, but I also found primal bloodrager. With that as an Aasimar, with the celestial bloodline I can skip level 4 and 8 bloodline powers and have 4 rage powers instead.

That sounds like a very good build. Thank you. I think my friend is going the warpreist route any advice for him?

Okay I am thinking very hard about going Aasimar for my race. I also feel like using a nice big weapon, maybe even a hammer or something to that effect. Which class would give me more damage with melee? I am thinking inquisator?

Reading over the inquisitor, I think I will try that. Now I need a race and any archtypes that are good for doing a lot of damage to demons.

I also saw the warpreist, are they any good at melee, or do they normally stay in the middle of the group?

Someone else is the paladin, I would like a character that is not a paladin, but gets in melee, I am thinking ranger with twf or the inquisater. I have never played an inquisator, but I have played a ranger in 3.5.

Hello everyone, I am about to join a campaign wrath of the Righteous. We are starting at level 1 and already have a paladin. Plan on going to 20. All races and classes legal and it's a 20 point buy, but should stay on the good side so no evil characters. I need help creating a bada** demon hunter. I don't have much experience in pathfinder, I would prefer to be front lines and doing damage, while at the same time not dying. inquisater, hunter, slayer, ranger was suggested to me. So what build can you guys and girls make that will make my character significant in the campaign?

Hello society! I have recently come by an undine boon and feel it is time to make a kineticist. I am thinking the water kineticist due to being undine. Currently I am thinking of making him a sailor or pirate as a background flavor. My question is how would I build such a character, I want him to attack with water spells and do enough damage to make a difference but not a huge dps build. I also want him to have some control on the battlefield with spells like obscureing mist. Any help would be great!

Thank you

Okay. So how do I obtain the DELIQUESCENT GLOVES? Do they come in a specific campaign or are we allowed to buy them after so much fame? Still getting used to the game points and prestige points.

Okay so my only concern now is damage. How am I going to put some decent his on people at higher levels? Equipment ideas?

OkaY last question. Should I go with dwarf or Tengus? The stats I would have for the dwarf would be
str 15
Dex 15
con 12
int 10
wis 18
Cha 5

The Tengus
str 14
dex 17
con 10
int 10
wis 18
Cha 7

Thoughts?

I was going to buy the bow when I was level 2 after my first 3 sessions. And what is adaptability?

Excellent. So at first level I should be doing +3 att.(Dex and point blank shot) For 1d8 +3 (point blank shot and strength ) and then less if outside 30 ft.

Attempting to make a Zen Archer monk and had a quick question about the bow. As I was reading about the com. Longbow it states in the core book:

All composite bows are made with a particular Strength rating (that is, each requires a minimum Strength modifier to use with proficiency). If your Strength bonus is less than the strength rating of the composite bow, you can't effectively use it, so you take a –2 penalty on attacks with it. The default composite longbow requires a Strength modifier of +0 or higher to use with proficiency. A composite longbow can be made with a high strength rating to take advantage of an above-average Strength score; this feature allows you to add your Strength bonus to damage, up to the maximum bonus indicated for the bow. Each point of Strength bonus granted by the bow adds 100 gp to its cost. If you have a penalty for low Strength, apply it to damage rolls when you use a composite longbow.

So if I am reading it right a strength modifier of +2 would be 300gp? And if so then I add my strength to damage? BTW I will have a +2 strength modifier.

Thank you.

Okay this is great. What I wanted to do originally was have a halfling paladin with a very high AC that could do damage either in melee or archer. I am going to go towards archer and make those Stat changes. I would love for him to work in melee but rather use a bow or sling staff for this guy.

Hello everyone. I have decided to play what it says in the title. I am new to pathfinder (but know 3.5) so I don't k ow all the build combinations that work well. I am wanting this character to charge at the enemy with a high AC and do some okay damage along with my friend who is playing a mounted fury barbarian. So I started working on my character tonight with a 20 point build and so far I have:
13 Str
15 Dex
12 Con
9 Int
9 Wis
18 Cha
This includes all the racial bonuses. I have not played a paladin before and not sure what build to go with or how to make the mounted archery work. Any advice would be helpful. thanks

I have been looking at a paladin build. I know I have wanted to make one eventually, so why not now! Okay so a gnome or a halfling? Then what would my base stats be in a 20 point build?

Well it is for PFS but if I don't have the books, then I don't feel I could play the character that well. I would like to try and stay with the books I have.

Hello everyone. I am wanting to make a new character but don't the best way to build it. So what I am wanting to do is make a Halfling or a gnome character that duel wields light blades and uses Dex instead of SRT in combat. What do you guys think is the best route. The books I have are core rulebook, advanced players guide and ultimate magic.

Okay he is wanting to drop the dragon part of it and go more into the necromancer build. What are good options for that type of build? Oracle? Cleric? Or sorcerer? Thanks guys!

Awesome. Thank you guys for the advice. I feel this will be a good character.

He want to run more of a necromancer but also likes the dragon thing. What is a good build for a necromancer?

Hey guys my friend is wanting to run a sorcerer that turns into a dragon discipal at the 5th level. He is also playing on being a half orc. What are your thoughts on a build for this. We are both new to pathfinder. Thanks everyone.

Hello all. I am new to pathfinder and have talked to a few members about this build. I am about to be level 2 so I am getting everything down to start on a good path. So this is what I have going on now.

HUMAN Admixture Wizard 1 and Cross blooded Sorcerer 1 (Draconian Red/ Orc Bloodline).
Feats: Spell Focus Evocation, Spell Specialization Burning Hands, and Intensified Spell Burning Hands.

Traits: Magical Lineage and Reactionary.

The plan is to continue the Wizard line and pick feats that help with evocation such as burning hands and fireball. What are your thoughts and suggestions?

Thanks everyone!
