I am at 3rd level (Magus) in a all dwarf game. I am going Dex based fighter. (There is trait that gives me dex and int but minus cha) since this is the first time I am playing a Magus I went with straight levels. I did think about Kensi but I view him as more magical than fighting. Though I have been using the guides for the Magus class.
Since I view him as more magical than fighting I was thinking about maybe doing a level or two in either alchemist or wizard.
Would that be a good idea or a waste of time?
Thanks

You apparently want to take the dip in wizard or alchemist to be "more magical", but what does that mean?
A dip in alchemist will get you a ton of great things like mutagen and a discovery, but only first level extracts, so that would probably be a dip that benefits your combat ability more than your magic.
Wizard is likewise; you really only get first level spells (although the admixture school is handy for Magus).
What I'm wondering is what you'd hope to get out of the dip, or how you think it would make you "more magical" in any way.
EDIT: Also your thread got posted several times, you might want to delete the other copies.

Agree. If you were a fighter that wants to dabble a bit, a level in diviner does wonders. But you're a magus, you have many things that already have slow advancement, both arcanas and spells have a three level gap. Without counting BAB.
A magus is focused in combat magic, do you like tthat or would you prefer more wide uses, like those of a wizard? If that's so, I would say eldritch knight.

Pure Magus, for being more of a Wizardry type fighter is the way to go. Spell recall is super good.
Suggestion -
Pick up the Scribe Scroll & Craft: Wand feats (If crafting feats are allowed).
Put points into UMD skill and pick up a improved familiar (this will cost a Arcana & a Feat) that can use scrolls and wands. Have your familiar then use 'Buffing Spells' using UMD.
