Making a Halfling get tiny...

Advice

If one were so inclined to make a Halfling get smaller, how could we best do it?

I've been exploring options to pair with Swashbuckler's Mouser archetype. Getting to tiny size either quickly or for a long duration is critical to moving into opponents' squares.

I've got the easy ones already checked off. Reduce Person via wands, potions, casting it myself, etc. Wild Shape. Beast Shape II via wands, potions, etc... But is there anything I am missing?

Reduce Person. Either as potions for 50 gp each or combined with Permanency. No you aren't missing anything as cheap and easy as this.

Oh, yeah, I should mention that I'm trying to play it PFS... which means Permanency is a no-no, right?

You covered most of the bases for a halfling. Kitsune with Fox Shape is a nice option, although being forced to rely on a bite removes precise strike.

If your whole party were built around the idea of being smaller than your enemies, you could also invest in a wand of Enlarge Person to use on your enemies. At first they'd be all, "Ha, you fools! Now I'll crush you!" and then they'd be like, "Oh no! I'm being stabbed in uncomfortable places and I'm too slow to stop them!"

They get reduced attack and AC against ALL of you, while with Reduce Person, only the ONE party member gets bonus attack and AC.

Also remember- being tiny means that the Risky Striker feat works on anything medium sized and larger. So that is power attack like bonuses to damage at the cost of only 1 AC. A BIG boost for you.

I'll agree with the Kitsune and Fox Shape - it is what my 'swashbuckler' is going for combing with some other classes for using Feral Combat Training for the bite attack.

But if you want a Halfling then Reduce Person is the best option.

Buy a rod of wonder. Wait till you roll 66-69 on the chart (out of possible 100). Get two sizes smaller.

Enjoy being permanently blue, green, or purple (see rules here).

Or being hit by fireballs or lightning after being turned into a statue . But besides those trifling details, sure spam it every day until you get the result you want.

I didn't see that the stone to flesh didn't have a time limit! The fireballs and lightning have a low dc and wouldn't do much unless you rolled really badly for some time. But it's pretty hard to have fun role playing a statue.

Not sure if you are aware, but Tiny Creatures are at serious disadvantage in melee. You could basically eat a lot of AoO's when entering into occupied squares. A regular CMB checks can also negate your size advantage to AC. The quickest way to being Tiny if you are small would be through Potion of Reduce Person. 50gp only, requires no skill or magical usage.

You can make potions more viable with the Accelerated Drinker trait from Cheliax, Empire of Devils. It lets you drink a potion as a move action if you start your turn with it in your hand.

Malag:

Yes, I'm aware of the drawbacks. I want to go with a Mouser/Cavalier(Honor Guard)/Paladin (Sacred Shield) build. I don't have any intention of ever rolling an attack roll higher than 10. Each of those abilities (Bodyguard feat included) trigger if I'm either in my enemy's square or if my ally is adjacent. Reach matters for nothing in that equation. The "drawback" of tiny having to move into its opponent's square is actually what I want to be doing and my AC should be high enough that it simply will not matter if someone wants to take an AoO on me.

Or even better, Potion Glutton from Inner Sea Gods. That does require you worship Urgathoa though.
