I am so going to start carrying around a metal rod to toast marshmallows on with just my Scorching Weapon feat.

Edit: and since I should put in a magic item for an odd use. Glove of storing for card tricks or cheating at gambling.

Necklace of Fireballs VII + Burning Hands Scroll/Spell = Suicide Bomber

The way this works is simple. You take damage from a fire spell and purposely fail the saving throw. All of the spheres detonate in a 20ft burst centered on yourself. With a full necklace, the damage dealt is 58d6 or 203 average fire damage if they don't make the save.

Umm... that would be a hot use. The OP is looking for goofy or cool uses.

Using the Prestidigitation (0-level) spell to allow your PC to go all Lisa Nowak while adventuring.

actually done this a few times.
robe of infinite twine. If you have some time make a ramp by piling up rope into a huge heap. May take a few in game hours but no ladder, no problem.
