Same Disease - Multiple Sources

Rules Questions

Playing a game in which there are many ghouls. Let's assume that one character is bitten multiples times. The character fails his initial save each time. He now has ghoul fever and will need to make subsequent saves to fight it off.
Questions:
If he is infected by 3 different ghouls, same DC save, will he need to make 3 rolls per day?
If he is infected 3 times (failed save 3 times)by the same ghoul, will he need to make 3 saves per day?

Game mechanics tell me each failed save means another subsequent save is required for each failed infection save.

Real-life tells me either you got the disease or you don't and repeated infection save failures are irrelevant: you got the disease and need to make one roll for it.

I am more inclined toward the game mechanic theory, but wanted to see if their were further clarification on this.

Bump.

Sorry to bring up an old (and maybe dead) horse. But this is my exact question, and so far my searching has found no answers.

To put things another way.

Character has contracted disease. Initial save was failed, the bug is definitely in the blood. Character is exposed to same disease, with all same stats, from new attack (either same source or new; shouldn't matter I think). Save is failed again. Does this accelerate onset, re-trigger frequency, or raise DC?

Basically, is there any mechanical benefit to putting more illness into an enemy who's already got that illness? Something akin to, but I'm guessing different from multiple doses of the same poison.

I'm fairly certain that only poisons have any punishment for being hit multiple times by it. Poisons simply increase the DC for further saves if you fail multiple initial saving throws, by +2 for each additional failure, and reset the time back to maximum. I would assume that Disease either similarly increases the save DC by +2, or more likely nothing at all happens.

Looking in the glossary of the CRB where it talks about afflictions: "Unlike other afflictions, multiple doses of the same poison stack."

Afflictions normally don't stack, poison is the exception. Being exposed to the same disease multiple times just ups the chance you will contract it. Once you have it, you have it. You don't need to make a save to avoid contracting a disease you already are suffering from.
