Erza Scarlet (Fairy Tail) Ideas

Ok so one of my buddies wants to play a character like Erza, a requip specialist allowing him to change his armor, weapons, etc virtually at will.

I recall seeing something like this, but can anyone tell me where to find them as I totally am drawing a blank here.

If 3pp friendly, probably you are thinking of the Aegis + soulblade with some slight refluffing would make easy switching around the equipment.

With the metaforge prc and you are all set.

If you don't want to use third party...well, it's possible but it's very complicated.

Alright well then, if they don't mind waiting for a little while. It's essentially end up being a bunch of very expensive items:

A Magus would be a good class for it...not much else to say about it.

Glove of storing is an "early" magic items to switch gear around. It still cost 10 000 gp tho.

Gauntlets of the weaponmaster are of course perfect, but again you are looking at 110 000 gp.

the class i mentioned, i feel i should explain more, it just sort of lets you equip entire character concepts, which is basically what Erza does, the Savant can be one moment the group's bard like character and then the next is TWF with sawblade sabers going balls deep in heavy melee.

I could have sworn I saw an item that let you change armor like that too. Scabbard of Many Blades was one of the ones I saw and Gauntlets of Weapon Master is the other, gloves of Storing is a good weaker version.

I see the flavor coming across nicely with a Synthesist Summoner. You could fluff your eidolon as various suits of armor, and using Lesser Evolution Surge you could change its abilities at will. Add evolutions like Improved Natural Armor, Flight, and Energy Immunity, and combined with your spellcasting, you could be a pretty kickass warrior.

Synthesist Summoner with the Evolution Surge line is the easiest way of doing it at all levels, I think. Erza is difficult to do in a classic sense (i.e. "has all the magic items and armours") unless you're willing to go way over WBL.

One possibility is to work up to a magic tattoo/rune that allows you to apply the effects of customisable Bracers of Armour to yourself. So you could, as perhaps a full-round action, swap special qualities in and out within the +8 maximum allowed by the enchantment. It would probably be expensive, but it gives you everything in one handy package. Include Gauntlets of the Weaponmaster and a Scabbard of Many Blades for her weapons, and you should be set to go.

off the top of my head: oath of vengeance+oath against fiends paladin who uses the divine bond to either change her weapon or armor to suit the occaision (fluffing this as swapping to a new object in question), and keeping a spare weapon on-hand via a glove of storing, and having a set of instant armor (i think that's the name) from UE
