I would suggest that you give build examples such as an archer, mounted and standard melee build. I am playing an archer build at the moment using Divine Hunter archetype. It is far more powerful this way with what you gain with the archetype than the much weaker teamwork feats for archery.
Okay, I'll work on that. I'll try to put a couple builds together the best I can. ;)

Shouldn't you play test and do months worth of research and writing before dropping a guide? Being first is cool and all but being tested and accurate is more important in a guide.
Kind of jumping the gun at this point I feel. Do some toying and in a few months hit us up. It was only this week the finalized version of the book came out.

quick question but how does hunter tactics give you summon natures ally as a free ability
Hunter Tactics (Ex): At 3rd level,
the hunter automatically grants her
teamwork feats to her animal companion. The
companion doesn’t need to meet the prerequisites
of these teamwork feats.
on a side note don't forget that the animal companion gets skirmisher tricks with what appears to be no requirements.
A hunter may teach her companion hunter’s
tricks from the skirmisher ranger archetype (Pathfinder
RPG Advanced Player’s Guide 128) instead of standard tricks.

Also, not everyone has access to the information. Making a guide for a class greatly benefits from having discussions with people to gather more ideas and what not. Without the SRD of PRD having the new information it will be a little restricted. Also, the amount of people looking for information (and looking at your guide) will be a lot larger once the classes are readily accessible.

yeah, I was thinking about waiting on it, too, but I just wanted people to get a little teaser. I will be tweaking it based on other people's ideas, don't worry. It won't be done for a LONG time, and is not in any way the most accurate or official guide, just the first one, and possibly the only one.

Half Orcs get +2 on any stats, can get a racial +1 on saves (+2 with a trait invested as well), have dark vision and have some great racial traits (giving a bite attack for example) - they are a blue race easily.
I don't know about Blue, because other races have traits that directly benefit the Hunter Class, like Halflings and Gnomes. I think I will make it green though.

Looks like a great start. I haven't picked up the ACG yet, it's nice to see the first guide. One suggestion for the description for the Survival skill- if the group doesn't have a Ranger, it could be useful for the Hunter to take survival. Especially in an outdoor-heavy campaign.
My understanding is a full guide is a lot of work, you could start a separate thread requesting Hunter builds. Eventually it will be nice to add a section on synergy with other classes and archetypes. A packmaster hunter with a skald makes a nice combination. A group made up of a hunter, shaman, arcanist, and investigator could plan shaman spirit and arcanist spells readied for certain themes of encounters, but might lack a little flexibility. That would be a long-term addition to the guide.

Will you be expanding advice to the other races?
Doting this!
OMG! I forgot about the other races. lol...
I suppose I'll start with the PFS ones and then branch out. I have to admit, I was mostly looking at both bonuses and Favored Class Bonuses, and their aren't any for the expanded races in the ARGSecane |
Survival has popped up many times in PFS scenarios and homebrews I have been in.
It should be at least a green, considering that it is the skill you use if you want to track someone or navigate dangerous terrains.
As for races, PFS-legal races are a good start. Just remember that there are many races accessible via boons, not just the open for use races.
On Favored Class Bonuses, maybe they will having those in the Advanced Class Origins? Aka, ACG is for core and the rest get placed in Advanced Class Origins?

Okay, I've never used it, but I will go ahead and boost it to green because of a few requests.

Guide looks good for the most part.
Couple things I will add to what has been said.
I feel you over value Ride. I have never even seen it used in PFS and even in home games, I find the mount companion a weak option compared to all others.
Track is under valued. The bonus starts small, but gets bigger as you level. Good for finding the goblin hideout or tracking the dragon's lair.
Elf is stronger in melee then you hint at. The Elven Curved Blade is a thing, and with a 1d10 for damage, blows the dex based competition away. The 18-20 crit range matches the rapier and scimitar. Power Attack is +3 from being 2 handed, so you will always gain a couple points of damage over the usual finesse options.
Think you also undervalue the celestial template in Divine Hunter. Spell Resistance, Energy Resistance, Damage Reduction, your pets becomes even harder to kill. The lose of teamwork feat is not that huge either. They help, but they will only work with companion or other people who take them. Since I have never meet another player willing to invest in teamwork feats, I may be undervaluing them though.
Final note, when you add the other PFS legal races, tengu will likely turn the rest of the races orange/red. Dex and Wis boost, sword trained (aka Elven Curved Blade proficiency), perception and stealth boosts, bite attack (doubly important for archers). Only down side is the Con penalty, but still awesome race (elves survive after all)

Half Orcs get +2 on any stats, can get a racial +1 on saves (+2 with a trait invested as well), have dark vision and have some great racial traits (giving a bite attack for example) - they are a blue race easily.
Half elves also have an alternate racial trait that gives a +2 to the save you worry about: Will saves.
They also get a +2 against enchantments (or the 'make me chop the wizard's head off' spells; particularly troublesome for hunters since they have powerful animal companions...which would follow your orders while you are mind controlled)
Anyway, my main purpose here is to discuss an alternative route with the primal companion hunter which goes in an extremely different direction.
Primal companion hunter has a line about what happens if your animal companion dies- you are the one that gets to use those evolutions. With the +str and +natural armor evos alone, you are hitting on par with an inquisitor (with way more uses; minute/level is like fights/level since most last less than a minute). Throw in things like flight, extra senses, DR, a smite-ish ability, and more... you have options.
I know it goes against the main idea of the class... but really... this is a watered down and balanced synthesist. No silly double health thing, no replacement of your base scores, no constant ability to bypass most of the dungeon... really, it is a lot easier to convince GMs to use.
It also stacks with divine hunter, which is nice because...well... you aren't going to use those teamwork feats too much with this approach. Might as well grab a domain while you are at it.
