Is anyone interested in playing #8-04 Wardens of Sulfur Gulch (10-11 subtier)?
If you are, please report here. We have two spots available.

Hi everyone,
With the end of Gameday V and the number of PbP games we all have reducing greatly, I wanted to use the opportunity to talk about what our awesome group could become.
First, it should be said that I really enjoy the community that Kludde has put together. Playing together scenarios after scenarios, meeting the same PCs, has really been an excellent experience for me, and I would be sad if it came to a halt.
In a post a few months ago, DM Kludde expressed the wish not to continue to GM all the scenarios in year 8 (also the end of year 7), but to cherry-pick a handful of them so that we could continue playing together. DMK, are you still keen on aiming for that plan? If you are, I'm 100% on board with you.
I thought a few times about this, and wondered "hey, we have a couple of GMs among us, maybe some of the people who aren't GMs yet might want to try it out, so why don't we take turns with that same plan?" Hence my proposal: if DMK and you guys are up for it, we could cherry-pick a few scenarios that we'd like to GM or play and take turns GMing, on a volunteer basis. Of course Kludde would get the first say in which scenarios he'd like to GM (or play if he so wishes), then the rest of us could express our wishes too.
One more thing: whatever the plan is, let's make sure we don't overburden ourselves, but that playing/GMing remains a pleasure for us all!
How does it sound? I'd really love if you could give some input, and hope you're as keen as I am to make that group strive.

I, too, loved the group and having consistent character groupings. Makes for good backstories! I am up for the idea - but don't want to run four to five consecutive games with the group again. =)

DM Kludde |

Thanks a lot for the interest in keeping the group alive. I'm very open to the idea of having rotating GMs.
I originally intended to keep running single scenarios for the group, but the reality so far has been that my spare time has been limited lately, with a lot of distractions going on.
As Glenn said, a lot of us are already in the 'Order' game. In a sense you could view that as a pilot. Perhaps, once that game is finished, we can see who has inspiration to run something?

Rhanloi Ehlyss |

Yeah - save the world or save a temple so we can loot it. How is that a choice? Unless we misunderstood the threat of the quippli-thingy =)
Besides, Grim hates xenos of all kinds - it's a Space Marine thing!!
So the question for the group is, do we keep playing these higher-level characters, grab our mid-level ones, or low-level/new characters? I would like to stick to one character to play with a group - like an IRL gaming group.

Lithrac |

I would certainly love dedicating a given PC to the group, but we'll have to find a close match on the exp level. Which brings me to suggest that if we go that way (with the level 9ish characters) I could run the All for Immortality trilogy for you once the PCs reach level 12. I'll be playing it in a group that starts very soon.
In this level range, I have:
- Auric, archaeologist bard 7.1
- Tharkan, half-orc bloodrager 7.1
- Jhalan, human slayer 7.2
- Skarn, human oracle 8.0 (once he finishes his current game)
- Ennoia, aasimar archer 8.2 (9.2 once she finishes her current game)
- Ouroboreia, human magaambyan arcanist 9.2
- Shandor, human blaster sorcerer 10.2
... with a strong preference for my oracle, who would get on very well with the rest of the Order from the Gate party.

GlennH |

I am in another GM round robin group, joined for the previous module. They started at 1st level and are running with the same character through all the games. Just a matter of choosing an adventure that is over the right sub-tier that no one has played except maybe the current GM.
But then mixing it up with different characters is interesting too.

Pedwiddle |
I've only got a few characters in that range as well:
- Boram (alchemist, 7.1, not currently engaged)
- Holman (rogue, 9.1 when he finishes Order of the Gate)
- Elindriel (bard, 10.2 when she finishes Sulfur Gulch)
If we were to go a little lower, I could pull out:
- Castien (fighter/wizard, 6.0, not currently engaged)
- Anaristiel (oracle, 5.0, not currently engaged)

DM Kludde |

I have Penelope in range, and my conceited bard Fissa just below (nothing a few GM credits can't fix).
Alternatively, I can cash in on some more of those credits and build something from scratch :-D

I would love to join. Need to dust-off (and level) 9.0 tengu pure musket master and make equipment purchases.
I have 5 levels of credit to apply to a 4th level musket master, so I can retrain those classes or level into a different class to suit the needs of the party. He has a base 20 DEX and 16 wisdom, so lot's of flexibility in potential builds before playing a 9th level character.
I am toying with the idea of 9 levels of Empyreal (wisdom) Sorcerer or Divine Hunter with Healing Domain if the party needs crowd control or healing support. Or I can just remain a hired gunslinger. Whatever is best for the group.
I also have a very soon to be 6.0 Seeker Sorcerer (Krux) and 2.7 TBD class (Zakon).

Shifty |

I have:
Dougal - Barb 9
Takahiro - Cleric/Pally 8
Svetlana - Hellknight 9.2
Blackjack Jacques - Bardbarian Eagleknight 9
Pitbull - Ranger 8
The lower stable:
Lance - Cav 7
Scarlet - BarbRogue 6
I'm thinking that the level spread of scenarios is such that we will probably find we need to mix and match a bit, assuming we are trying to stick to vaguely current season.

I've been coughing and feeling icky the past couple of days. I'm going to bed early today and will resume posting tomorrow.

DM Kludde |

I'll run it, just downloading it now. Shifty is out until Dec 18, so let's set up the game until then and give him a chance to join.

If I'm invited (I'm a bit confused if this is a continuing adventuring party or new group), Krux is wrapping of DMK's Quest of Perfection III but then he will be ready at 6.0 for Tome of the Righteous. We are at the final battle.

DM Kludde |

From the dots so far, it looks like we're playing in high tier. I'll try and push a bit with the QfP game...
With the following people, we have a full table:
Lithrac
Pedwiddle
GlennH
Rhanloi
Shifty
Vasari

The one for Talathel should be for Boderus, since I participated in the last game with him instead of Talathel.

It is very much appreciated DMK for running this series and providing all of its chronicles.

The last one should be for Clair, not Salena.
