Can i craft a Metamagic Rod / Spear?

So how would i go about crafting a Magic item that is a Fauchard on one end and a metamagic rod on the other?

You start by asking your GM. All "home brew" items fall under their purview.

You can craft any item, but if it is not a listed item in the book, it will fall on the GM to decide how it is done.

I believe that if you comb through the staves listed in the book you will find some that also function as a magic quarterstaff or spear. Very little stretch to make it another weapon - especially a hafted weapon.
