Can you see the message where she continued the Detect Magic on the skeleton, sword, and chest? I wonder if it didn't get saved, since there was no result and Caine cast it again in the same place.

My research (and I have the various Dragon Empires books) has been inconclusive; Paizo seems to be inconsistent about the actual language terminology for Minkai. Sometimes it's called "Tian-Min," other times "Minkaian."

Not sure what the travel time is?
On horseback or in a caravan, it takes about 2 to 3 hours to travel from Sandpoint to the point where you leave the Lost Coast road to head into the swamp. The trail to the cave is the furthest from Sandpoint. From the road to the cave is another hour or two. With Walthus helping it is closer to an hour. He does not accompany you to Sandpoint, but will wait by the trail entrance for your return.
Your return was slow as no caravan was running on Sunday night, so you needed to rest on the road and arrived on foot Moonday morning.

I guess you can prepare Create Water. Endure Elements will be useful if the climate gets too hot or cold. I can't really think of much else besides protective spells. My character's set for travel unless anyone wants to interact with each other.

Some input, for what it's worth.
I've run Jade Regent before—at least, the first two modules of the AP. The caravan system is... well, I wouldn't design it like that.
* Caravan combat comes down to a roll-off: one roll from the party, one from attackers. This means that most players have nothing to. You just sit and wait to see if you win while one person just makes a roll once per round.
* The kinds of monsters that you encounter early on in their suggested encounter tables will smash a typical starter caravan, forcing you to flee, regroup in the nearest town, and then spend a bunch of money to start over.
* The entire thing is based on the assumption that the DM will just flesh out the trip from Sandpoint to Brinewall (a trip that could take a few months) with enough random encounters to reach level 3 before you reach the ruins.
When I ran, I let players improve the caravan, but I made it much more Oregon Trail-like: Along the route they would run into hazards (reins broke and horses tried to run off, wagon got stuck crossing river, owlbears attack, etc.), each of which was a separate scene. I also had scenes in two towns where the PCs stopped for supplies. After five scenes they gained level 3 and reached Brinewall. Caravan improvements were necessary for things like having enough food to make it overland for 2 weeks between towns, or having armor on the wagons when attacked by ogres, or carrying extra trade goods from town to town in hopes of making additional money.
I strongly recommend not using the caravan rules as-written, and instead focusing purely on the high points/challenges/exciting encounters of the trip, with "traveling montage" in between. These montages are good opportunities for players to have short RP scenes to develop their relationships with NPCs.

I'll go with Aiko on this one (though I don't have any experience on caravan rules). We can wait for you to sort things out. What I'd like to know more about if what will be spent on in the modified version.
OK. If you want to get involved with any caravan improvements, I will let that happen. I will not use the caravan rules for encounters, instead I will try and make them a combination of normal combat and skill challenges as well as provide opportunities for RP with the NPCs.

That will be 300 gp. We already got one among the treasures we got. So we have 421 gp and 3820 sp from the chest as well as a potion of cure light wounds, cure medium wounds, lesser restoration, a wand of identify, a ring of climbing, a chain shirt, the sword, and chest and jewelry. We can sell the wand as well as the chest and jewelry for more money.

Ameiko doesn't have the 2700 gold required for the wand purchase. She would need to sell the Rusty Dragon Inn in order to acquire sufficient funds. You may attempt to convince her of the wand's importance and need.

Ameiko is in the lead wagon (covered) driven by Sandru. Koya is in the second wagon (fortune-teller) driven by Bevelek. Shalelu is in the third/final wagon (supply) driven by Vankor.

@Zaraleva Ameiko made a deal with the Cathedral to get the wand. She offered partial ownership of her tavern and they agreed. She now has the fully charged wand of cure moderate wounds.
Are we pressing on? or does someone want to spend some time looking for magical items?
