Open recruitment for #2-19, Enter the Pallid Peak, a non-repeatable, Tier 1-4 scenario.
After the volcano Droskar's Crag erupted over 700 years ago, destroying many nearby cities in a cataclysm that would come to be known as the Rending, the dwarven empire of Tar Khadurrn fractured and eventually collapsed. Recently, a group of prospectors discovered a mountainside entrance to what they believe to be a sprawling dwarven complex, but they retreated from the dangers they found within. They have reported their discovery to the Pathfinder Society's lodge in Ulfden, and the Society is preparing to dispatch a group of agents to enter the mountain and learn what they can about the ruins within.
1. I am actively looking for a mix of new players and experienced players. New players can refer to new to RPGs, new to PF2, or new to PFS2. Active PFS2 players who are trying out a different format will count as experienced players for this recruitment.
2. Posting expectations are standard - one post per weekday, one post per weekend. Historically, for my games, this usually means games will last 5-7 weeks long, with a low of 3 and a high of 12. Note that this will mean our game goes through one and maybe two major US holidays. Posting expectations will be weekend-like during these periods, and note I dislike botting characters. Please be clear about your holiday plans.
3. Recruitment is NOT first-come, first-served. I will leave this recruitment thread open for 48 hours (until Saturday) and treat everyone who applies within that window as if they had applied simultaneously.
4. If you'd like to apply, just make a post with your character alias (for experienced players) or main alias (for new players).
A chance to explore an ancient dwarven stronghold? How can I pass that up?
I think he needs a little tweaking, mostly some money to spend, but otherwise ready to go. 1st level dwarven rogue.
Newish to PF2/PFS2. He's my first PFS2 character. I've played/run a bit more than that for non-society games.

Total noob to PF2e and PFS2, I would be interested in joining with a premade, to try and learn the ropes - Harsk, the dwarven Ranger :)
Holiday expectations... I will be traveling from the 21st December up until the 4th of January, but still with internet access. Might be able to keep up regular posting, though I cannot make any promises there.
Alseil Geodekeeper and her golem Goldirox would also like to be considered.
I am experience in both Pathfinder 2e and not baddish in PbP as well.
For fair disclosure, I have run this adventure with my normal gaming group, which makes it unlikely I would ever get play credit.
This is almost my first time playing the summoner, who is level 2 due to GM Credits. (Still need to buy stuff for them, and finish the character profile.)

Mrs. Crinkle here is a level 1 barbarian. She's an elderly lady faintly reminiscent of Mrs. Claus, but way more fun in a tavern. She has a ridiculous fashion sense and a lingering-alchemical-side-effect-type-thing that happens when she rages.
I'm fairly experienced with PbP and PF2. If the character spread leans in favor of higher tier, my rogue sorcerer Nal is level 3.
I would throw my warpriest lvl 3 into the mix.
@WaterySoup I was wondering if I want to play that scenario. And I am still not sure ;) I like playing at your tables, and I like this particular adventure. At the same time, you know perfectly well that I GM'ed it.
You know Makai so I will spare describing her. She is lvl 3 and taking dwarven cleric could be enjoyable.
But I will leave it to you.
I don't see anything necessarily wrong with it. As long as you're not a huge jerk about hogging the spotlight, it's fine. When I played it, I think we had every level from 1-4 represented.
Ok, so I apply with Lazzare!
It's his first time in a PbP, so I still need to fill his description. I'll do it soon.

Okay, this got complicated, because there were 15 applicants. I count 5 players that are "new", and 10 that are "experienced".
I've decided to run two games, staggered about two weeks apart. All the new players are in, but dracul104, I put you in the second group, because a new player shouldn't have enough AcP to buy the catfolk boon (it's a restricted ancestry) so let's talk about that.
The first game will be:
thejeff / Horst Broadbrim
Frozen Frost / Tandang Boreas
Edeldhur / Harsk
JenkinsMyMan / Sesthyun
SuperBidi / Lazzare
Warah / Mrs. Crinkle
The second game, which will begin in approximately two weeks in a different campaign, will be:
dracul104 / ?
Marjim Marc Arafiles / Martin Amblecrown
Farol / Makai Goldenoak
NN959 / Ajax Arrowhawk
Aerondor / Slipp
JASON RODARTE / Meepette or other
The three experienced players who were not chosen for either game will get a PM before I run my next game, you can have priority.
Trscroggs / Alseil Geodekeeper
Aceofmoxen / Roland Farilel
Blackocatto / Khenari T'lok
