Monkey, not trying to convince people, just saying if a consensus is not reached on DFT. There are so many ways to play that completely restructure the campaign flow that consensus is required. As such, if it cannot be reached, then we must select something which is easier to gain cohesion on! You can play a Fey no matter what, so don't feel I'll be doing away with that! ^_^

I was considering it to be a more RP focused DFT setting, like Ravenloft but with fairy tale elements included with gothic horror. The encounters would be much fewer in number and require a LOT of thinking for PCs to survive. I was fine with either child or adult adventurers, but I see that the children would be hard to run and, for that matter, explain. The setting would evoke the tales of the Brothers Grimm. The dark forces aligned against the PCs would be servants of the Five, a coven of witches with foul designs for the campaign world.

ShadowyFox, I'm not sure what that is, but it gets you on board with my original plans for the campaign, so cool!
Aldrah Furyblood, looks like I hooked a second person with that pitch!
The Five are known in the hushed whispers of the campaign world. They are known most commonly by their soubriquets: The Heartless Queen, The Lady of Mirrors, The Blood Maiden, The Ice Witch, and The Witchlantern. There is rumored to be a sinister figure called The Sixth who supposedly rules over them all.

I will make a recruitment thread for you all in about an hour!
Just as a note, this is a DARK setting. If you don't like the older, bloodier, and more sinister fairytales, I repeat, THIS IS NOT FOR YOU! If anyone has ever played Grimm for True20, mix that with Alice in Wonderland and Ravenloft, add in MacBeth-like witches, and you have a recipe for a really GRIMM SETTING, pun intended! ^_^
