The way they've developed Tony Stark in the MCU, I really don't see him easily supporting the superhero registration act. He's been played up as highly distrusting of the government - would a switch in favor of registration be credible? I don't see that being likely yet.
you're right! Tony Stark hated the government before anyone knew it was infiltrated by HYDRA! (i.e. before Cap made it cool to hate the government... :) )
now SHIELD is basically dead, HYDRA is still running loose throughout the U.S. government UNOPPOSED and Stark goes like, "Yeah let's put the government in charge of me!"
makes zero sense in the context of the MCU as it stands
however i'm not putting it past Joss Whedon to do a 180 on this in light of the recent increase in supervillains in the M:AoS show....... he could spin it as Tony trying to do an "Avengers Marketing Campaign" on TV and in the media saying stuff like, "Not all of us caped crusaders are homicidal maniacs like the recently captured Absorbing Man or Blizzard. Good guys register, and work with the cops. We're here to help! every time you see a costumed guy in the street, ask them for their Superhero Badge, and they will comply! Good guys are happy to help, remember that!"
::Jets off coolio style::
(however my opinion is still: makes zero sense)

Depending on the timeline, I suppose The Defenders might be changing that.
Plus, I was looking forward to more Cap and Bucky.
Word on the Defenders! I can see them shacked up in Strange's weird mansion, like the New Avengers hid during Civil War! :)
Also, I fully expect Bucky to show up again... either in his own movie, series or throughout various Marvel movies.

Isn't he signed on for 4 more movies?

since this is the longest running MCU thread (and it's not like these movies are completely unrelated) might as well post this here to be consistent
Benedict Cumberhatch in talks for Doctor Strange
EDIT: as soon as I saw posted this, another post still said it wasn't a done deal, so put a bit more caution into the above

Was I the only one who was disappointed by Zola's personality shift? In the first, he seemed horrified by some of what he witnessed Schmidt do, and came across as a rather reluctant Hydra member. Here, he's the seed of Hydra that infected the entire organization, and seems to wholeheartedly support the Hydra ideal. I liked his conflicted nature better...

Put it simply: his robotic self has done away with all remnants of humanity... it is not the "same" Zola as the human Zola, whether the self-aware robotic Zola believes it or not does not change the fact that it's not a perfect copy...

Agree 100% - he had no fear of "death" since he already died. He was accepting of the fact that his sacrifice was worth it to destroy Cap.
Anyway, he now lives in his "algorithm". If we are lucky he also downloaded or backed up his AI persona onto another machine. I thought he was a good re-imagining of an old Marvel villain and would like to see him again somewhere down the line.
It is unfortunate that he was destroyed - that scene was the best part of the movie IMO. I love conspiracy bunk - op paperclip, Nazi infiltration/formation of CIA/KGB - that whole scene plays into that lore perfectly.

Of course he has been downloaded! didn't you see the big MODERN USB drive right in the middle of the room when Cap and Natasha arrived? she plugged her own memory stick into it! (so since the USB drive has already been attached to old tech Zola, it stands to believe that it was transported via memory stick to another HYDRA location, and was no doubt the source code for the Clairvoyant HYDRA algorithm... I *still* think that Clairvoyant = Zola! :)
