So I bought Ultimate Psionics and decided to play a soulknife in an upcoming campaign, with pyrokineticist as a logical upgrade.
My questions are these:
Are the mental stats worth investing in or should I dump them(We're using a 20 point buy)?
Is human the best class or is there a better option?
Am I able to form a one-handed mind blade and the fire lash at the same time? Or does it work by replacing one of my light soul blades?

From the looks of things, the only Mental stat that soulknives or pyrokeneticists look at is CHA (for a few of the pyro's abilities). So if you're worried about points, you could probably keep the mental stats low, though I don't like dumping WIS if you can avoid it. Lowering your perception and will saves just never seems like a good idea to me.
Humans are a good choice, extra feat and skill point, or taking one of the other racial traits. Other choices could be, Half-giant (get one size up for weapons), or Half-Orc (can get better psychic strike damage). It kinda depends on what style of soulknife you want to play.
I don't see anything that would prevent you from having both a soulblade and a fire lash out at the same time, but it would take a move-action to form each one.

i have seen this done before. the lash might count as your soulblade (can't remember) also for mental stats...look at the blade skill focused offense (Wis to ATK/DAM)
Yeah the pryo has a line in the Fire Lash ability that covers that.
You have to use up one of your blade skills, but it could be useful.
