Ah, there you are Mr. Jokeity-Jokester item. If I remember correctly, yesterday I had to vote you up because the alternate was- surprisingly- that much worse, but you get no reprieve today!
Meh. Clearly not a spider-man related item because those are not bracers, right?
I've hit a couple of camping items, "filigree," and several monsters-in-cans.
Found a quill, and it's a brain bender. Not as big a GM headache than some, but still....

You use "Curse" in your item description!

I cannot believe that I just had to vote for that.
This one didn't even try with the name.

I just found the one who can work only with another item. Too bad, the flavor is cool.
I think this item counters exactly one spell in the entire game. Someone has had it up to here with Heavens Oracles!

Overpriced item versus item I saw in Warhammer almost twenty years ago... Ok, more like 17 years, sheesh.

So, since most teleportation spells don't accommodate unwilling subjects, why would your item be able to do it so easily?

I'm an Elementary school teacher, a Game Master and a Player and I have yet to find an entry in which all three of these aspects are satisfied.
Good concept but poor formatting and writing.
Concept that makes much more work for the GM.
Idea that gives another class the same ability as my class...
I have also found I really shy away from liking the items that all but force one player into the spotlight to the detriment of the rest of the group.
A lot of these items would be great if there were only one player and the GM at the table, but, given that most games usually have a bunch of other people there, should we really have items that one person uses while the rest of the group waits for ten minutes for it to be resolved? Anyone else feel that way?
Cool item that doesn't explain what it actually does.

Honestly, I've found a pretty strong correlation between the quality of an item, and the correctness of the Construction Requirements section.
*stretch* back to the grind! morning everybody :D

Doodlebug Anklebiter submitted an item this year? ;)

Okay, taking a break. Back in a few hours.
Interesting item, but if you can afford that, then you're probably at a point in the game were everything can crush the saves involved.

First camping item... Would be nice if it costed 1/10th of its price. For the price listed I could buy a staff of magnificent mansion for the party wizard and have it recharged a few times by a 13th level wizard.

I think I have seen the same item more then a dozen times.
This is a book. I love books, but they're not allowed.

Are they? Oh, my. Here I was thinking that they weren't considered wondrous items. My bad.
It's right off Batman's belt!
Bardess wrote: Are they? If it's a wondrous item, why not?
What the hell?! They do WHAT to my face!? Uh no, make me a centaur please.
Okay. If I see again that book, I'll vote for it this time.
Orthos wrote: Found the centaur item. I think there are at least 2 or 3 from what I've voted on so far. They're kinda blurring together from lack of sleep.

I just saw Anthony's worked example - slightly reworked
This one seems a weapon, but it's not.

Dice, dice, card, voted for same item several times because the other quite poor. Been getting some items several times, 8 9 for one.
I got a potion vs a staff... neither is a wondrous item

If you need to write "for example" you should work on clarifying the language more, please.
Two quill items at the same time...what are the odds?
On second thought, never tell me the odds.
