He took a job with the Pathfinder Society Conservation Corps. They are building a highway through the Land of the Linnorm Kings.

Don't forget the Fort Save vs. the Sickened Condition because of a nauseating factor of the aura.

Another item with multiple auras of various strength. I wonder how they do that?
I suspect if you look at the effects of the item, the spells being used are being cast at the minimum level to satisfy the creation.
e.g. if you have two spells, one requiring to be cast at 7th level to produce a 7 dice effect in the item, and another which really only needs to be cast at 3rd level to add to that effect, then it is likely that if the two spells are from different schools, then two strengths get quoted. (If they are from the same school, then only the highest strength gets quoted).
I don't regard this as a problem if I can identify in the item effects that the spell levels being cast are appropriate.

It wasn't the case of multiple effects cast at minimum caster level each. Also, magic item aura is based on the item's caster level - I can't recall seeing any Paizo item ever that would have have auras of different strength.

Are you there, Groetus? It's me, Quibblemuch.
So, after reaching Dedicated Voter (I promise, not more dedicated than I am to you, G.), I FINALLY saw my item. It holds up well. One habit that I did see, both in my own description and a LOT of others, is to open with some variant on: "[Item] seems to be..." or "[Item] appears like a..." or "Resembling a common [other thing]..."
Interesting tic. Reading hundreds of descriptions that do that has made me realize how often I default to that in my own writing. As Groetus is my witness, I shall henceforth COMMIT when writing, and describe things instead of describing what things SEEM to be.
Thanks for the lesson, Groetus. See you soon!

Wait ... wait... something just clicked on an item I had not seen before.
I didn't copy it down.
Who has a list and wants to help me out?
I'm only compiling a list of names with a few keepers. Is there any way that I can help?

It just popped up again. I had a look at the phrase that flagged my interest. I believe I know the obscure reference.
Thank you, though!!!
