People will still be debating in the alignment threads.
Randall Munroe has some apposite quotes about predictions in his latest comic.

We will have amazing revolutions in all scientific fields. Diseases we thought incurable today will be as unknown today as smallpox and polio. The advances we've made in the last fifty years with computers will seem like nothing compared to where we are in a hundred. We will find a solution to our energy problems and food problems.
And, despite all this, we'll still all be a%$!+@~s to each other. It'll take more than a hundred years to breed that out of the human race.

Here's a few:
- The current geopolitical reality here on Earth will have undergone a radical shift at least once. My best guess would be an ascendant South America in alliance with parts of Africa has attained "greatest power" status while many of the "big boys" we are accustomed to are grappling with overpopulation issues and the societal repercussions therefrom.
- One or several extraplanetary colonies will have established societies of their own.
- A pseudo-Luddite cultural shift will take place about this time as people seek out smaller/ personal/ "living" performances that have no 'electronic connection'.
- "Airlock P()rn."
- Mass Combat Entertainment (MCE) on Pay-per-Battle.

Or human will have mostly exterminated each others, and nature is taking Earth back ( well, what's left of it anyway).

We will prosper under our AI overlords.
It's already happening, so in 100 years, the world will have been in ruins for years.

Nope. And that's the point.

Considering the track record of prognostication, after all who could have predicted the Internet 50 years ago, let alone 100?; It seems a futile exercise at best.
I will predict that if we don't get our collective head out of the sand regarding climate change, that our descendants will be cursing our names within 100 years, most likely less time than that.

<nitpick>According to the Fount of All Knowledge, some fellow at ARPA laid out a plan for what he called the "Intergalactic Computer Network" in 1963.
OTOH, I don't think *anyone* predicted spam.
</nitpick>

Okay... I will try my hand at it. It will take a good, long while, but the concept of nation states is not going to look even remotely similar in a hundred years. My guess is, unless they clamp down on every emerging idea for an alternative so harshly that we get a world-spanning tyranny, there is going to be some kind of clear alternative by then. Say, getting citizenship/laws/whatever goes by then from a variety of global organizations. Tying citizenship to geography is an iffy concept already. By then, it will probably seem quite laughable.

Singularity will have been achieved 50 years before. No one dies of old age. Alzheimer and motor neuron disease will be gone, along with cancer. I will be in my third android body. We will have the stars. The US congress finally decides to function with some sanity.
Yeah a little optimistic, but with all the miseries above, someone has to.
