It would prolly be two diff concepts, but I would just be happy to get into 1 :)

Heya Bold Strider.

I'm interested in Dragon's Demand. I have some ideas I've been mulling I'll have to see if I can make them work with 15 pt. buy.

Redacted incorrect statement.

@MichaelCullen: You should make a character for it if you are interested!

@ Bold Strider, I am definitely going to apply. I am thinking of a Human Oracle/Paladin.

Is there a recruitment thread for your Rise of the Runelords campaign? I am trying to make a really good healer. Looking at a Life Oracle/Paladin base with perhaps an archetype thrown in on paladin.

Here is my submission for Bold Strider's Rise of the Runelords. I am still working to flesh out his equipment and pick his traits but this is his general build and background.
He is a Life Oracle/Paladin. My intention is to make him as a healer/support character, but the gestalt concept will give him some flexibility if the situation calls for it.

I'd be interested in the Dragon's Demand. I've run it once and am currently running two other tables of it.

This is Tyranius submission for the Celestial Bloodrager. Just have to build a quick background but everything should be in order.

The Exchange

This is Tyranius interest for Dragon's Demand. I just have to tweak the stats down to a 15 point buy but otherwise everything else should be in order and fix the traits of course.

I'll be submitting for RotR! I've played through Thistletop for PFS credit but don't replaying it. I'm also GMing it in campaign mode and we're only a couple encounters away from completing book 1.

---

Canis Lupus wandered into Sandpoint near on five years ago, butt-ass neked and hair all over, like some wild beast. And with the way he growled and howled and all, he seemed close enough to a wild beast but the people of Sandpoint took him in anyways, giving him clothes and a place to stay and the like. It didn't take long for those who were interested in him to realize he must've been raised by wild animals out in the Nettlewood or somewhere abouts in the wilderness around Sandpoint. Wolves, most likely, the way he growled and sniffed and scratched himself with his foot.

He turned out to be brighter than any would have expected and picked up the Common tongue easy enough, though and after about a week he started wearing clothes like a regular human. The silverware took a little more learning and he still prefers eating with his hands when no one is watching. He still growls and barks on occasion when he's upset; he's even been known to bite a fellow or two when he's downright angry. But the people of Sandpoint have made him their own, their dear Canis Lupus, the boy raised by wolves.

Druid with the wolf domain who has a biting problem! Also going to take two levels of monk with Feral Combat Training at 5th for ultimate hi-jinks! I'll throw a base profile together later once I mull over his stats a little more.

I am also mulling over a Shaman centric build, either heavens or nature. I will post him for consideration as well. I would be willing to play either character. Which ever one fits better with the others in the group if I am picked.

Lantern Lodge

Certainly going to make a character for the RotR. Current idea right now is a cleric or oracle/arcane priest of Nethys, looking to possibly garner a following in the sandpoint area.

Oh yeah, I liked that RotR run I made with EF and company with Quiven. I might come up with a rogue of a different sort for this run or try something I've never tried before, not sure which.

Heya Bold Strider.

Here's a proposal for a halfling Knife Master Rogue for the Dragon's Demand game. I'll make a full profile and finish up the crunch in case you accept him.

Fluff:

Jebediah wasn’t like other Halflings. They were always merry and bright. Joking and laughing well they did not know loss like Jebidiah. His mother had passed giving birth to his sister. A cruel fate, but the priestess of the lady of bones had only said that that is the way, that every soul is safely guided along by the lady of Graves. From that day on Jebediah had prayed to the Lady of graves for the safety of his mother’s soul. Other halflings had called him odd and one day when his traveling clan passed through a small town in Taldor Jebediah met the priestess again. The young Halfling told her that he had prayed to the Lady of graves every day since their last fateful encounter and she merely nodded and asked him if he wished to join the temple. Now Jebediah is traveling in the name of the Lady himself…

Crunch:

Jebediah Lillywag
Pharasma’s Dark Disciple
N Halfling Knifemaster Rogue
STR 8 (0)
DEX 18 (10)
CON 12 (2)
INT 10 (0)
WIS 12 (2)
CHA 13 (1)

Traits:
River Rat
Trap Spotter

Skills:
Perception +5
Disable Device +8
Stealth +12
Acrobatics +8
Knowledge (Local) +4
Knowledge (Religion) +1
Bluff+5
Diplomacy +5

Feats:
Two Weapon Fighting

Equipment:
Leather Armor
Spring Loaded Wrist Sheaths x2
Dagger x5

Second Concept for RotR, I suppose if I had to choose this one would be the one I prefer, but am open to either if selected.
A young Shoanti man has come to Sandpoint, and he has been followed by two birds. One, a hawk is has feathers the color of the sun; the other a raven, is pitch black save for little points of light that seem to mimic the night sky. There is something otherworldly about this young man, his eyes sparkle like starlight, and he speaks of spirits.
Shaman(heaven)/Druid

Bold Strider,

Just a note that I'll be submitting a bard/maestro sorcerer for RotR this evening. Face/support enchantress roles in the party. She's pretty!

Here is Gerald's bard sorcerer combo. I haven't chosen equipment, but other than that, she's ready for consideration.

Please post all class combos to the GM Bold Strider Excel with names if you already have it decided. Then I can look up your account and find the alias to look it over.

@Gaarm/EF: The RotR is Gestalt.

GM Bold Strider wrote:

Oh man! Totally missed that! That'll make the druid/monk an even better combo than I was anticipating. I'll work on finishing it up soon.

ah ok. Now to choose another class lol

OK, I've come up with an idea I've always wanted to try. This fella is a Garundi (though I'm open to better suggestions) that I am going to multi-multiclass into the four basic classes (fighter, then rogue, then cleric and then wizard) in his first four levels. After that I'll just see how the story and the character develops.

Meet Joey "Goldpiece" Gillick:

I may need to alter a couple things once I fine-tune him to the rollup requirements and such. I'm not sure about this Gestalt thing?

Good gods - Runelords is out of lines for sign up! I'll be
the interested 10th on waiting list.

@ Bold: Are gestalt characters PFS legal? (portable to convention table tops) -maybe lame question

Gestalt are definitely not PFS-legal, but campaign mode doesn't require you to play PFS-legal characters.

I see, what then does Bold mean with 'PFS Credit will be handed out and tracked'?

You can play an AP or a Mod like Dragons Demand as a 'home game', using whatever houserules etc you wish, and AS LONG AS you play through the prescribed content a PFS Chronicle for that content can be handed out. That chronicle can then be assigned to any of your eligible PFS characters as though they had played the session.

1 person marked this as a favorite.

I get it now, thanks both!

The Exchange

I've been staying away from recruitment for a bit due to a busy schedule, I come back, and I find a gestalt RotRL in the works? This is madness!

Seeing how late it is, I'll check back in tomorrow to examine the requirements (or if I already missed the boat).

Wait list for Dragon's Demand? I marked the sheet.

Wasn't expecting so much interest. Added more lines to RotR.

@Pathmaker: Feel free to sign-up for Dragon's Demand. I haven't chosen who is participating yet for either DD or RotR.

@Everyone: Additionally, since there is so much interest, I am considering starting a Gestalt Carrion Crown to allow those not chosen for RotR to have another chance at a Gestalt AP. Same rules as RotR. Please put your preference for CC or RotR in your line on the Excel by putting an asterisk in front of your player name for your submission to either one.

Silver Crusade

P.S. - Still looking for at least one more for Mists of the Mwangi (1-5) and King Xeros of Old Azlant (7-11). Sign up if you are interested!

As long as there will be PFS credit I do not care if I end up in RotR or CC. I still have to look up this Gestalt thing though.

The Exchange

I have a preference for playing with EF, wherever he lands, but unfortunately he's playing a monk/druid and my first two concepts were a monk and a druid (separately).

Party o' monks!

I'm already playing CC (finishing book 2) in real life (well, over Roll20 now that we've moved).

I haven't had time to throw a profile together for my guy yet but he'll be a druid with the wolf domain rather than an AC and a monk of the four winds.

RyckyRych wrote:

@ Bold: Ditto for me here, RotR or CC, I'll concept a primary and secondary, and if picked, you pick where the PC will fit best. Your games are always superb.

Also, Dragon's Demand is not gestalt, correct?
How many levels gained by the finish of module?

I'm on my phone and can't see the sign-up sheet for Dragon's Demand, but it sounds like it may be full. If not, I'd like to give it a shot.

Just to be sure I understand - if I play through all of Dragon's Demand with a PC built per Bold's specifications, I can then apply the chronicle to a PFS-legal character. Since this module takes you from levels 1 to 7, does that mean if I apply it to a brand new PFS character he'd start at 7th level?

I wish I had a little more time for one of these, but I'm overreaching now as it is. I might creep in the RoTR threads though to see how that one plays out.

I would presume that GM Bold Strider is using the 3.5 gestalt rules. If he has something else in mind I'm sure he'll say so. :-)

That's what I'm using as well.

For playing campaign mode, you get four chronicles. If you apply it to a 1st level PC, you'll get to 4th, but will have to hold one or two and apply some other chronicles in between. On the other end, if you apply all of them to a 3rd level PC, you'll jump to level 7. The fourth is a bonus chronicle you only get if you play in campaign mode. Posting from my mobile, but I'll find the link to Compton explaining how it works, and Pirate Rob did a breakdown that shows Wealth by Level, depending on what level you apply it to.

Also, I might be interested in CC.

Scarab Sages

If you are still taking submission for character(idea)s ..I'd like to submit a halfling (gestalt) bard/master summoner who goes around charming small humanoids and summoning (swarms of) rats when they don't do what he wants while he plays on his flute.

I think I'm missing something somewhere about the submission though...because the only excel sign up sheet I see is for "normal" PFS scenario's only as far as I can tell.

Oh, I see. Hmm. Wow, can I multi-class Figther/Rogue and Wizard/Cleric? :)

Revvy Bitterleaf wrote:

Revvy - if you click on the GM Bold Strider's sign up sheet link, it will take you to the right spreadsheet. Then click on the tab at the bottom for "Games Sign-Up" and you'll see the games being discussed here.

Bold Strider - I threw my name onto the Dragon's Demand list also, in case you're inclined to make a second table of it. Have a number of builds I'd like to pursue, will wait to see if there's a chance of playing before going any further.

Noted!

When would be kick off?

Silver Crusade

If there is still room, I added Dora (Battle Herald 11) to the King Xeros of Old Azlant (7-11).

I am working on a halfling Titan mauler/Hungary ghost monk

@Everyone: 3.5 Gestalt Rules. I don't subscribe to the idea that you can't play Prestige Classes that combine two classes, however. Mystic Theurge, Arcane Trickster, etc. are available for play, however if someone chooses that route, I will modify what they grant so as not to be too over- or under-powered

@D-Kal: I don't mind taking similar characters, so you would still have a good chance to end up with EF.

@EF: I'm aware of your CC game, hence why I asterisked the RotR submission for you. ;)

@Pathmaker: Dragon's Demand goes from levels 1 to 7 and will not be done gestalt. I ran through it as a single-classed group of four and we had a bit of a struggle early on, but steam-rolled at the end. Gestalt would ease on the difficulty early on, but make the end extremely easy. Also, you asterisked everything! Just asterisk one of the three campaigns so I know which you prefer the most. :D

@Khelreddin: As Tektite said, you will receive four levels worth of Chronicles at the end of Dragon's Demand, which are able to be applied to any character. Also, I always consider extra tables if there is enough interest. E.g. Two Table-Midnight Mauler and Carrion Crown. Both spawned from a lot of interest.

@RyckyRych: That's the idea.

@Shifty: As soon as I get four players that are ready to play. They have been up for a week or so.

EDIT: Mists of the Mwangi and King Xeros will start in a few days after everyone checks in. Khelreddin and Tektite, are your characters ready for Xeros and Mists (Khel only)?

Ah, I see now. My spreadsheet pages got rearranged. Sign-up was usually the first page, but got pushed to third. Fixed now!

EDIT: Links to King Xeros and Mists of Mwangi will be posted soon!
