Hey folks! There have been several threads of GMs organizing low-tier PFS games. I thought I would start a similar thread to organize some high-tier PFS PbP in my attempt to get those experienced PFS characters some much-deserved playing time.

This will also help me to organize high-tier games as I have often had trouble finding enough players to fill my high-tier games. If you've got a PFS character above 5th level, please fill out this spreadsheet and add yourself to all of the games you can play (even if you only have one character). Once a game fills up with at least 4 players I will start it up (assuming I have time to start another one up).

Thanks!

High level PFS games

*This doesn't mean I will stop GMing low-tier stuff. But I generally haven't had any problems with open-recruitment of low-tier games. So keep a watch out for more low-tier recruitments from yours truly.

Dark Archive

So here's a question...I have an in-person game scheduled at my local gaming store this Friday evening, and at the same time, I'd love to throw in my lot as a player for one of your high-level PFS games.

Is this allowed by PFS rules?

Once a character has started a game (either in person or online) they are locked into that game and can not start another until it is finished. So if you started a game right now, then no, you could not play him in real life this Friday. But after Friday you could play in a PbP game, realizing that he might be tied up in that game for several weeks during which you would not be allowed to play him in real life.

You will notice on the spreadsheet I left a space for availability/notes. If you are not planning to play that character in real life for a while, just note that you are available after this Friday. If you plan to play him in real life regularly, then you might not want to tie him down to PbP at all. (Which is the main problem in finding players for high-tier PbP games; no one wants to lock down their high-tier PC for a month, especially if it's the only one they have.)

The Exchange

L5 Wayang Shadowcaster Illusionist here!

I'm very interested in 3-7 or 5-9 games, but I don't have a level 7 PFS character yet and I'm not too keen on playing a pregen.

Dark Archive

Level 7 Human Samurai Hellknight, reporting!

Sovereign Court

Level 5.2 sorcerer here!

Silver Crusade

My ranger will be level 6 once he's done with Fangwood Keep. That one will wrap up by Christmas, so I'm free after that!

@Alie: I am still hoping to do The Devil We Know series, just waiting for Morvius to finish up with his other character and then recruiting two more players hopefully.

The Exchange

When Filios and Varg (Cleaver) hit 5th, I am all over this, Endless! Thanks!

Sovereign Court

Awesome, DM!

Liberty's Edge

The only high level PFS PC I currently have is currently not too bright or likeable. You may know of him. =)

But I don't mind throwing him onto the list. Looks like the other game should be wrapping up fairly soon. I can't access the cloud storage until I get home.

Yep, always welcoming more! When a game finishes I generally try to find one that everyone can play and then keep the group together but I'm going to send everyone here instead. I think this will be an easier way to organize games. At least I hope; I'll give it a try at least.

When Desmond is free, I'll put sign him up for something. Hopefully it won't be too long before Linnea and Maaarv can make it up to 5th level as well.

Also - naming a Samurai Mifune - I'm sad someone beat me to it.

He's also a Ronin, so y'know...stuff lol

The next plan for me is to make a Samurai that either is a Two Weapon Fighter (Musashi) or a Nodachi wielder (Sasaki Kojiro).

Scarab Sages

As soon as golem works is over I will be 8.2 due to GM credit. Would love to play.

Fighter 3/monk 5

The Exchange

Hey Alan...longtime, no see.

Scarab Sages

indeed, it looks like you have been busy Filios.

Correction to earlier...8.1

Also shout at to Jakarno, Alie and Lavode.

Signed up with my Lvl 6 Inquisitor...I might throw a few other hats in the ring as well.

Go ahead and sign up for as many games as you can play. I'll start them up as they fill up.

I'm tempted to sign up as a pregen but I'd rather wait and play with my own characters. I'll have 3 pregen sheets after the one I'm playing now is over. I'll just wait for a lower-tier to come along so I can try out my ninja or cleric.

Liberty's Edge

I'm hoping to get Linnea in a couple of local games to bring her up to 5th level soon.

Grand Lodge

Go go Fortress of the Nail!

So here's a question...

I'm a Hellknight of the Nail. Does that mean I get meta knowledge while we play? :D

Grand Lodge

This is a very good idea. Are you planning to run all of these yourself?

Grand Lodge

@Mifune: Quite the opposite; The guys who run the show in the fort MAY assume you're just there to work and assign you duties somewhere else, thus forcing you to decide between missing all 3 combats and getting a 0 XP chronicle or getting demoted for insubordination. :S

Not all at once, but that was the intention. For Fortress of the Nail, Alan is currently in another game of mine but once he's free I can start that one up.

I might not be able to start them as soon as they fill up but I will try to start them as soon as possible. I have several other games that are close to finishing and then I'll start working my way through these.

...did I say Order of the Nail? I meant Order of the WHALE. I can see where you might make that mistake...

Grand Lodge

I had to take my name off the list for Sniper In the Deep. Turns out I have played that one.

Looks like Fortress of the Nail is full except that Alan is still finishing Golemworks Incident with me. I'll go ahead and start it with the other five though since Alan has several others that he can play (and that will hopefully fill up soon).

I have a level 5 Urban Ranger available, for something.

Hey! Jump on in then, there's our sixth!

Since Fortress is full and starting I'm removing it from the list. Feel free to add you characters to as many games as you can play, even if they are currently committed. If more rows are needed beneath a game, feel free to add them.

Sovereign Court

Best of luck, guys; that one is a cool scenario with some rad... stuff in it. I'll note that (for the same reason) I have a 6th level Zen Archer now open, though I'm thinking I'm near my maximum capacity of game right now.

I'm at max capacity of GMing right now with two more just starting up in the last 24 hours. But I've also got three of them in the middle of or near the final fight.

Sovereign Court

Ha, I know; I'm in most of them, do ho ho.

Howdy!

Well, I have ONE GUY in the level range for this group. I've signed him up for all the stuff he should be able to play moving forward, but he CAN ALSO play in one of the 5-9 modules before leveling out of that group. I have record of having played #1 & #3 on that list, and none of the others.

Once my Cleric 4 gets another 3 modules under his belt, he'll be able to sign up for the rest of the 5-9 listings.

EF has already run for both of these characters, so I think he knows what "Fighter" means for Giovanni. <g> It isn't QUITE what most PFS players expect it to mean.

My Golemworks Incident game just finished up last night. A couple of them (Alan and Lavode) have already added themselves to the spreadsheet but their characters are free now. I'm expecting a couple more to add themselves to the spreadsheet soon (hopefully), which means games will start to fill up!

Go, go Fabric of Reality!

We've got four players for that one if Brachus doesn't mind playing up:

Alan (8), Giovanni (9), Batty (8), and Brachus (5).

I can wait a bit for another player or two and Brachus isn't obligated to stick in if he's not comfortable playing up (especially in a season 4). But as it stands now you'd have the four-player adjustment at least.

At present I am resisting the urge to play a pregen.

If you need another for Fabric, let me know I can roll with a pregen. Just let me know :)

Ezrek is available!

I could play if you folks will have me:

I have a number of folks in the 5-9 range, and haven't play Fabric:
Xue, a very tanky Nagaji Cavalier 3/Fighter 1/Monk 2
Chjara, healing/utility half-elf cleric 7
Nahlah, switch hitter desert themed human Ranger 7

Silver Crusade

I'm fine with playing up (as long as the rest of the party doesn't mind having a lowbie following them around), I just need to be more careful and hope the rest of the party is there to save me when needed ;)

Brachus - Keep Giovanni between you and any opponent combatants. Trust me. Just don't let Giovanni fail a Will save.

Scarab Sages

I am ready for fabric of reality. Do you think you can send me a PM with the link? Pretty please?

Shin and Leastrie are available as well. Both are need to be leveled.

Ok, I'll start up Fabric of Reality soon (some time today). I'll send everyone a PM. I think the party will be:

Alan (8), Giovanni (9), Batty (8), Brachus (5), one of Tektite's characters, one of Tangaroa's characters

Would 3 clerics be too many clerics? Cayden Cailean, Gorum, Abadar ... there are some interesting theological debates... (my cleric is 8th level, by the way; sorry, mistyped earlier)

Grand Lodge

You can never have too many clerics.
