Bodythief p. 20
not really an error but it seems like there are two monsters here Bodythief and POD-SPAWNED CREATURE.
This already spans 2 pages, maybe split them out into two distinct stat blocks?
Bodythief and Bodythief,POD-SPAWNED CREATURE.
I realize you may have done this due to space constraints and/or needed another picture for the 2nd stat block.

Everyone should also realize that if you put a question here that you must hit the FAQ button or it won't be put into consideration. So FAQ my comment. :)
i disagree.
The errata isn't FAQ. It is asking that errors in formatting or mathematical errors (i.e. Init has the wrong value) from the given rules be corrected. If you look at the Bestiary FAQ there are hardly any entries.
Hitting "FAQ" for any given math error won't make a corresponding FAQ entry show up.
These are usually fixed in the next printing.

The FAQ is not just for getting things FAQ'd. It is also for pointing out errors so they get fixed.
The FAQ system was built to allow players and GMs to draw attention to unclear, confusing, or incorrect parts of the game rules and get official answers from the designers.

Trox needs Errata
Their stat line has: Str 25, Dex 13, Con 18, Int 8, Wis 10, Cha 6
It assumes they are in a frenzy.
The non-frenzy stat line Str 21, Dex 13, Con 14, Int 8, Wis 10, Cha 6
Frenzy (Ex): Once per day when a trox takes damage, it
flies into a frenzy for 1 minute, gaining a +2 racial bonus to
Constitution and Strength, but a –2 penalty to AC.
A +2 racial bonus would give them Str 23 and Con 16.

That's not what the FAQ is for. There's no need to FAQ-flag something as simple as an obvious errata change like "this is undead and should use Cha instead of Cha."

stat block order: it's Feats then Skills not Skills then Feats as in stat block
I was thinking the same thing.
I'll possibly have some "real" errors by the end of the week if the guy who double checks my work can get me his feedback.

Colour out of space- It should have blindsight instead of blindsense, as per the standard ooze traits.
Demon lord, Pazuzu- wrong attack and damage bonuses on his natural attacks due to using a manufactured weapon.
Devil, Nemesis- slams should primary attacks, they are treated as secondary on the statblock.
Drakainia- full attack has wrong bonuses for claws and gore. They should be: claws +32, gore +30 (4d6+14)
Empyreal lord (all of them)- the regeneration description on each stablock doesn't match the description of the empyreal lord traits at the end of the book.
Cernunnos- Gore attack should be treated as secondary, since he is using a manufactured weapon (-5 to attack, half strength to damage). The club has wrong critical range, should be 20. He has Improved Critical (scimitar), but wields a club. If you apply the feat to the club, threat range becomes 19-20.
Erlking- The attacks are missing a +1 bonus from the constant haste spell-like ability. Longsword damage should be treated as a two-handed weapon (+14).
Fleshwarped, Irnakurse- attack bonuses should be bite +13, tentacle +9
Formian queen- wrong attack bonus (should be +21 [4d8-2] due to Str 6) and initiative modifier (should be +1 [+5 with hive mind] due to Dex 5).
Freezing flow- It should have blindsight instead of blindsense, as per the standard ooze traits.
Geist- Weapon Finesse is useless because it is incorporeal, it already uses Dex to attack.
Graeae- "2 claw" should be "2 claws"
Great old one, Hastur- quickened suggestion is missing the save DC
Gremlin, Monacielo- full attack is wrong, dagger should be the first attack and bite should be treated as a secondary attack.
Grendel- bite should be a primary attack (full attack bonus, full strength bonus to damage).
Hamadryad- attacks with dagger are missing the +1 from masterwork quality. Longbow damage should be 1d8+3 (Str 12). Composite bow STR bonus should be +1.

Diminutive
Swim +9 = +0 ranks, +1 Dex +8 swim speed

Incidentally, why do the Monster By Type appendices in the Bestiaries list only some of the sub-types? For example, B4's Appendix 8 doesn't have sub-type listings for Clockwork, Colossus, Demon Lord, Devil, Empyreal Lord, Great Old One, and Kaiju sub-types.
While they do come as a clump in the actual bestiary, I would have thought that it would be convenient to see them listed together with just a glance at the one page in the appendix.

Lycanthropes
Lycanthropes in hybrid form have the Speed of the base creature (that is, the base humanoid).
The wereshark does not have a Swim speed in hybrid form, since the base creature (human) does not have a Swim speed.
But the werebat in hybrid form does have a Fly speed, and the werecrocodile in hybrid form has a Swim speed.
Either werebats and werecrocodiles should lose their Flight and Swim speeds in hybrid form, or the wereshark should gain a Swim speed in hybrid form, and the template changed so that lycanthropes in hybrid form have the speeds of both the base creature and base animal.

Kaiju, Mogaru (p. 170)
Shouldn't he have the Amphibious special quality? From the write-up, it appears that he sleeps underwater (Water sub-type), but wrecks cities on the surface (needs to breathe air).
I don't believe so: "Creatures with the water subtype always have swim speeds and can move in water without making Swim checks. A water creature can breathe underwater and can usually breathe air as well."
Bellona |
Thanks for the info! I guess that I should look more carefully at the sub-type definitions.
That said, however, I note the use of the word "usually" - which I really don't think should be in a definition like that, as it just muddies the waters. The Amphibious sub-type is still a better definition/category for breathers of both water and air.

Adult Time Dragon p. 70
CMD: Computed: 42 Stat Block: 44
10 +19 BAB +10 StrModUsed +1 DexMod +2 SizeMod
Why does it have an explicitly higher CMB for Sunder attempts? This usually happens due to Improved [Maneuver] feats, but the adult version doesn't have Improved Sunder (the Ancient version does, and he has the same +2 called out).
