Recruitment –
A dwarf dressed in scale-mail made of golden coins that overlap approaches and addresses each of you individually. Something about his bearing, he commands respect, authority is litterally oozing off of him, yet there is also an overwhelming aura of goodness about him. This Dwarf is by far the most charismatic that you have ever seen (however you would react to a 28 CHA dwarf..) As you look closer at him you notice his skin is made of vary vary fine golden scales, his beard and hair appear to be spun of gold.
“I be seekin ah few brave good souls ta be ah takin charge of this outpost I've done gone and set up. I found a way to walk the Hall of Doors. Found three doorways that opened up. One leads here to Golorian, One leads to another world known by those that live within it as Eberron. This third doorway though. Dat be da one that this dwarf has dun gone and set up an outpost within.”
“From the world of Eberron I have negotiated successfully with the Lord Baron Eston Lanthis of House Cannith for the service of some 15 score of the Forged Ones and one of his Artificer's to maintain and operate an arcane device called a Creation Forge, which will allow more of these Forged Ones to be created.”
“From what I have discovered these Forged Ones, or Warforged as they were initially called started off as intelligent Golems, but somewhere along the way in the process of the Creation Forge's Magics real honest and true souls were imbued into the Warforged. These Warforged beings came to there awareness knowing only one purpose, To fight in the Last War.. 60 some years of fighting and being destroyed.. Before anyone was even aware that they had Souls and their personalities were nah just an artiface of magic.”
“E'Lanthis as he is more commonly known, dissagrees with the Treaty of Thronhold.. an agreement where his uncle Merrix and aunt Jorlanna and cousin Zorlan were forced to agree to no longer create Warforged upon the continent of Khorvaire as part of the Truce at the End of The Last War. He has given us his full support to us in this Endevor.”
“He has given us the last remaining working creation forge that was not destroyed upon Khorvaire. It was located within the Towering city of Sharn, a city build at a nexus point to the plane of air, this strange location has allowed structures towering Miles in height; even floating islands to exist to 'Crown' the city.”
“I digress, This new doorway I have discovered leads to a world I know nothing about. I have scouted for 20 miles around it and seen naught but the wilderness that surrounds the portal. In the past year I have with the assistance of over three hundred of these Forged Ones I have established a beach head. There is a pair of small mines, some potato and grape farms, even a small lumber camp,as well as some basic structures.”
“The reason the advance has been slow is two fold”
“First and foremost time works differently. What is a year there, is but a month here. Only when the moons and suns are in proper alignment for all three worlds does this Doorway open. It stays open for but three days once a year in the spring, the window is vary small.”
“Secondly, As I went straight from the Hallway of Doors from my world of Midkemia to the Empty World and than to Eberron I had no reason to mark the passage of time as strange for I was alone save a Mechanical Owl that choose to accompany me. The Forged ones can ill prepared, and the Druidess that is this spiritual leader refused to let us clear any trees until she could study the whole dang forest.. six months before we were allowed to drop a single tree. I suppose when one is ageless what is time though, still six months wasted.”
“Regardless we are where we are now for a reason. And that brings me to you, 'mate.”
“The Auguries, Scrying Pool and Harrowing Deck have all lead me to you. It seems you are fated to fill one of these vacancies that I have at the Outpost”
Klokk hands you a sheet of Velium scribed in the more precise penmanship you have ever seen.
“If you see something that catch your eye, Let me know and Perhaps that post can be yours..”

The Game to be played by post w/ a Google Site for reference material (maps/etc)
Game System to be used is Mostly Pathfinder (see spoiler for exceptions).
Far as alignment, No evil.. everyone’s out for the greater good in this tale, or Klokk wouldnt have invited you. And no true neutral, everyone must take a stance of some sort.
For all Eberron related things we are going to use the material from this site https://sites.google.com/site/eberronpathfinder/Home that Tenro has been kind enough to convert to PF rules. Kudos to him for that work, were going to beta test his conversions and see if we not break anything.
Character Creation
Crunch
1. Stats are a modified point buy system. All stats start at 8. You have 20 points to spend, 1:1 cost. 18 max before racial adjustments.
2. All races allowed from those worlds, if non-standard race from either world PM me.
3. All Classes allowed from the worlds of Golorian and Eberron.
On Prestige Classes
If you met the various requirments to join a PrC from anywhere within the Golorian or Eberron you are free to do so. If it is not a Prestige Class that I have introduced into the storyline, your character will be the founder of that Order/Group/whathaveyou.
Hit Points are maxed for Everyone and Everything. (For example there may be an 8 HP goblin and a 80 HP goblin)
4. Skills are standard with exception of bonus skills.
Every Level you (Heroes) gain 1 rank in survival and it is a class skill to symbolize your growing attachment to the Lands surrounding the outpost.
6. Feats
Anything from Pathfinder is allowed. Almost everything from Eberron is allowed including being a member of one of the various Dragonmarked houses.
Firearms are treated as “Commonplace Guns” : While still tricky to wield, early firearms are readily available, requiring simply a martial weapon proficiency. Early Firearms are 25% of the listed baseline prices. Anything other then black-powder is still rare and full price. Need Craft: Gunsmith to make anything more advanced then muskets. Gunslingers gain +1 rank per level to Craft: Gunsmith.
On Dragonmarks
-Warforged are treated as Human in regard to the Marks of Making. Which means that they may bear any of those Marks and all feats that would apply.
-Anyone from Golorian is welcome to develop the various Dragonmark Feats for themselves if their race allows one.
-No abhorrent marks. It is the power of the Creation Forge in continual operation that enables these various True Dragonmarks to Manifest.
7. Traits. You are allowed any two Pathfinder Traits (even from adventure paths) and one Flaw, for a total of 3 Traits.
8. Starting Equipment
All players were given an ornate cedar chest with silver inlays (worth 100g) it contains 100 golden coins, marked on the side with the face of a golden dragon and the other with a crossed mining pick & lumberjacks ax. (value 1gp each coin) to purchase equipment as needed before you go to the outpost.
You are all issued Masterwork Quality armor, shields, extras of any type up to a total of 200gp in base value.
You are all issued 2 Masterwork Quality Melee weapons of your choice.
You are all issued 1 Standard Quality Ranged weapons of your choice. Included is a 100 rounds of ammo (bullets, arrows, daggers, darts, bolts)
You will all be given either 1 Scroll or 1 Potion of your choice 1st or 2nd level.
9. Magic
Divine Magic
You are your deities bridge to this world, as such all powers work normally and you are free to choose your spells as you would. Your holy symbol is a medallion that appears around your neck when you arrive bearing your deities holy symbol, regardless of what it was before you came though here.
Arcane Magic
You gain Read Magic & Detect Magic as extra 0th level spells. Even artificers gain these infusions at will for free. Each level you gain 1 spell (or infusion or what have you) of your choice and a randomly determined one from me.
Mental Characters
You gain 10 free PSP. (beyond that I dont know enough about psi-stuff to assist much beyond that)
10. Desired Rank/Role
See Above.
11. IF you want to keep your character sheet between us, feel free to PM it to me to look over before we start otherwise include it in a spoiler tag below at the bottom of your in character response to Klokk inviting you to join on his experiment
There are 8 Unfilled positions that are required to make this "Kingdom" function fully without any penalties. I will leave it up to majority vote if we fill the vacancies with NPCs or RNPCs or wait for then to fill up with people that want to play them.
RNPC is a Random-NPC, new term i have coined to describe "I have some gamer friends are not tech enough to turn on a PC, let alone play a play by post game. but always answer the call to banter in character w me and would be willing to run an NPC so their reaction is random even to me"
Resnit Varn |
I have a myth weavers character sheet connected through his profile backstory soon. As my other face said I gave my self 3 traits and one drawback tell me if this is wrong check my spell list as well. I would be happy as a Grand diplomat, Magister or Explorer. I have also posted on your other thread as Walter.
Klokk |
Your sheet looks good, interesting choices with your stats and skills looking forwards to hearing how he grew up.
Far as spells go, Yup for 0th level spells its 6 total, counting the detect/read magic that just comes naturally to you as an arcane caster, slight bonus.
Also tbh, if one of you wanted to play a couple different characters I will not frown on that idea. Who am i to judge, i am already playing a few hundred :D
Resnit Varn |
I tried to roll the drawback randomly but ended up with the one that removed my ability to make knowledge checks untrained. so I rolled again and got Oppressive expectations which I can at least live with. Oh and I forgot to put in his aasimer traits and changed his favored class bonus to the bard song lvl boost..

It's been years since I've dipped into Eberron! Four questions:
1. As we are apparently neither on Golarion nor on Eberron at the moment, where do we begin?
2. For the differing "kingdom" roles, are these something the characters grow into, or are they assuming these roles at/soon after the start of the campaign?
3. What type of pacing are you looking at for this campaign?
4. For the 1:1 point buy, I'm assuming you're still starting at 10, so an 18 would cost 8 points? If this is the case, I'd just like to point out this model favors the purer classes a great deal; it's not really min-maxing OoC for them to floor certain categories either as, say, a barbarian of some renown (8th level) got there by being a fierce warrior - not a book-learner on the side.
Klokk |
1. You begin, individually at your response to Klokk's question above as the first IC response it will be here once you finish your characters, as a sorta intro post to the others and to me of your each of our writing styles.
If you are from Eberron, that conversation takes place within Vathirond.
If you are from Golorian, that conversation takes place within Sothis.
The actually game will start at the outpost, as you all arrive and are shown an illusion that was captured in a crystal Klokk had upon him of everyone else answering his question. After you have all been "kitted" out, but before anything else happens.
Once we have enough gathered Ill start the actual campaign thread (I am having issues coming up with a good name that's not lame, so am waiting for something to pop, beside the Outpost of the Forged Ones..)
2. You are assuming the roles at the start, that is why you were recruited.. only a handful of the forged ones have shown any initiative and that was mostly hampered by the Druidess. Klokk is looking for people that can see beyond blind faith. You are all recruited for your potentual being far above the norm.
3. Do you mean, am i looking for 1 post a day, week, month, year? If so, I am available most times, i can promise reading daily, responding as much if needed. I want to try and stay in the background as much as possible, hence the sandboxieness. More a window dresser then a train engineer. I really want you guys to take the initiative and do what you want to do in this tale, I will provide what i hope to be an interesting backstory within a few layers.. ya know stories within stories. If you want to post daily, feel free. If you want to post weekly thats cool too. Any less then that is a waste of our time.
4. Resnit is correct, they are starting at 8. it is so that if you do not spend the 12/20 points to balance your stats to 10's across the board your character has some real mechanical flaws to counteract (somewhat) mechanical gains to be had from say.. Putting 10 into con/str and being a raging barbarian. Sure its only a -1 to say CHA if you leave it alone.. but with all the Leadership stuff involved with kingdomebuilding 7 people with a combined -1 to cha will cancel out a 20 cha and a 14 cha persons bonues.
There may be tests or challenges that will required a combined stat check (where you guys all add your + and - to a stat and one person rolls) when something major is going on that abnormal.
That 18 would cost 10 points, fully half of your stat points.

See what you think of the concept spoilered below!
Despite their appearances, they were actually a peace-loving species, simple and ritualistic in their lives. The attacks over the years forced them to learn tactics of battle though, of defense; by the time they reached the desert in the East, the Lizardfolk were feared as riverdevils, and stories festered of them stealing into childrens' beds at night to eat them alive.
While the stories were false though, the fears were real; a coordinated effort sprung up to herd the cold-bloods North towards Sothis proper. After a large swath of repeated harassments from the South, the tribe moved North, as expected. The few dozen that survived the (new) exodus were pushed up against the docks of the city. There was nowhere to hide.
Usul, along with the others, was to be executed publicly, but a gilded Dwarf intervened, offering to whisk the "pests" away - and paying a good bit of gold to do so. However, his conditions were complicated; he singled-out Usual, one of the tribe's paragon warriors to make a deal...
With regards to roles, I feel Usul would work well as a warden; as this deal was made to protect his tribe in this new realm, he sees his guarding those important to the outpost as vicariously defending his own tribe.
Klokk |
I like it. If you wish, you are welcome to 'grow' into the Lizardman King subrace and as such use a war trident if you wish. As your tribes paragon, i would allow that.
__
"I had not foreseen this.. development Usul" Klokk pauses to think, absentmindedly playing with his beard for a few moments he then continues.
"With regard to your people. They must all stand the sames test of character that the rest of you must do so. Any that bear evil intent within their hearts are not welcome to come. If your people are willing to allow me to examine them and detect if they are evil. I will allow those not evil to come with to the outpost."
"I would not condemn any good or balanced person to death simply because of their race."
"You say you would be the Warden. Would you have your tribe serve as your guardsmen, for we have none at the moment beside the basic combat protocol that all the forged ones are trained in."

Backstory
He died at lvl 20 while I was still lvl 1 stupid pathfinder age rules.
Since you are allowing alternates can i be Azata-Blooded instead only differences are +2 on Perform instead of percepion. Glitterdust as a spell like instead of daylight.

I think I was not clear enough. dun use the mechanics of the King beyond the War-Trident exotic proficiency they gain. Did not mean for the larger other mechanical bonuses inherent in a cr3 base creature. Just sorta an iconic weapon to symbolize your being a paragon of the tribe.
Resnit
Are you asking if you can start Renits live fresh at age 82? or go back to when he was 19? Personially I dun care how old you are. But one thing to bear in mind, if you start at 100 and can only live 110 years by raw you may well die of old age before the Outpost has become a kingdom. If you that is your desire feel free to be whatever age you wish.
As far as your bloodline change, that is fine if you wish. http://www.d20pfsrd.com/races/other-races/featured-races/arg-aasimar use the alternative things there and roll 1d100 /roll twice if you wish.
Walter Lindie |
I was just talking about the fact that his friend was human and started gaining levels at 20 years while I am just starting now at 82. According to raw max age for aasimers is 250 + 6d% years and starting age is +6d6 years (66 - 96 years)It put me up to 82 I have more than 170 left.
Perception: 1d100 ⇒ 151d100 ⇒ 51 I got this Once per day, when you are at 0 hit points, you can take a full round of actions without losing a hit point and falling unconscious.
Usul Stonescale |
As the Dwarf brokered the message with one of the reptiles that had picked-up the human tongue and relayed it to Usul, the lizard felt no fear; if their path led them into a new place, so be it. They were good in their hearts, he knew; the Dwarf's worries were founded on naught be the stories their captors told.
************
Even still, I have no need for a trident. My sheet should be finished.
Tenro |
Actually, would you like to grab treasurer? I will probably end up changing roles to Grand Diplomat, and if you were treasurer, then you could take stock of the outpost's magical items as well.
Sure, that would be good. I was going to go with Magister first, then Treasurer was my second choice, but i hadn't said anything and other people picked them, hahaha.
But yeah if you dont want treasurer, i will take it. if you do want it, that is OK too. My character trying to be a General or Marshall would be an exercise in hilarity.
Tenro |
Ah. I am looking to fulfill the trope of the generally helpful support warforged artificer. I haven't played warforged or artificer under Tzizimine's conversion, so it should be interesting. Although he will also have both INT and CHA as primary abilities, he will not be a diplomat by any means. He would definitely prefer to be holed up in a room with all the treasure.
Klokk |
Walter
I was was confused for a moment, thought you were the human when i posted that last night and yes i had your character sheet open. It was just one of those moments. Interesting to see an animated shadow, mine always end up never able to get dirty so far 4/4.
Bane
Sounds good are you going with a Bonded item? If so long as its not a weapon/armor feel free to describe it any way you wish, as much "bling" or gems or filigree as you wish. It only works for you after all, to anyone else holding it, it will appear as a common mundane version of whatever it is.
Usal
Klokk Pulls out a Schema and speaks the word "Toma", which is draconian for Sight, activating the infusion within it, he begins to scan the rest of Lizardmen that he purchased. None of their auras are the tell tale crimson of Evil Intents. He nods and replaces the Schema into his pouch.
Looking up at Usal Klokk says "Aldoer Shivi Pliso svanoa jalla yth jira vur litrix dout dos sthyri?" Smiling at the lizardmen, showing all his teeth in what would be for a dragonkin a grin of friendship.
Remembering that he had purchased the Lizardmen and as such they still bear slave collars. "Ir annyo youwe" In a vary load voice he roars "NIF" and all 47 slave collars fall to the ground, shattered by his somehow amplified Otrusch spell.
__
You may find http://draconic.twilightrealm.com/ useful as it translates dragonic or common to the other. Its still a work in progress, only knowing a tad under 7500 words. And fair enough with the Trident, just figured would offer.
Jen
Yup level one. Ive only tikered with Psionics a little bit and never with anything beyond 2e in play. Does that +10 PSP help much, alot, alittle, not at all? is there something on par with the arcane types get that would be more beneficial but not OP? Our grand diplomat is able to read minds.. Interesting benefit for the group.
Tenro
Your concept will work great for treasurer. After some more practice you can always upgrade yourself to add some items to make you function in the roll better. Remember while the forged ones cant use normal worn magic items, they can be modified to fit a forged one with a days time. And vice versa to change them to something that a softskin could use. Depending on Alignment you could even justify them as an Economic expenditure to upgrade the treasury departments capabilities. :D One day perhaps you can set up an office within the coin vaults (as you dont need to breath shouldnt be an issue) but as of now there is no vault just a pair of warehouses half full of lumber curing, stone blocks, Iron and Copper ingots as well as some potatoes and wine aging within the other one.
Also I know artificers are somewhat weird in that they are both arcane and divine yet neither. You gain the same Detect Magic and Read Magic infusions, cast-able at will as any other Arcanist would.
Since you are a Warforged. Have you decided if you were made by house Cannith during the last war and are from Eberron, or are one of the first Forged Ones to be created here at Outpost W-4-1? Also do you have any experience with a 3.5 artificer in play or this your first go with an eberron artificer?
Bloodydove
Sounds good, Vary curious what you come up.
Feorina the Archpsion |
Female Lashunta appear like elves with small antenna. Feorina is very old, though still somewhat fair because of her race, and generally frail.
On Castrovel, death was a matter of life. Seldom did those that lived beyond their prime years survive the lush, yet deadly wilderness that separated the great city-states. Nature was truly alive; even the fungi communed with one another.
Feorina was old, too old infact, and was quickly becoming a burden on her clan. As the New Year came, she prepared herself, as did the other elders, to walk alone into the jungle to die. She said goodbye to her family, registered her will at the city state, and began to walk into the wilderness. For days, she walked onwards, until she lost a leg to a jungle creature. From then, she hobbled onwards with a single leg and cane, and when her strength had given out, she crawled.
As she waited to die, she spotted a confluence of magical energy, which Feorina recognized as an untamed magical gate. With the last *gasps* of her magical energy, she telekinetically flung herself into the whirling abyss.
--
Her new home on Golarion was deep in the wilderness, but she wasn't in any real danger here. She had fashioned herself a crude peg-leg and sweeping robes that concealed herself. Her first and only visitor gave her the opportunity to travel to another world, where time moved much slower, and seeking a way to extend her own life, she instantly agreed, if only to give herself more time.
----
The psionic bonus is better than the arcane bonus, but in general arcane is stronger than psionics, so I think it works out balance-wise. As for equipment, are we roleplaying out the purchasing or just doing it before the start of the game?
And can we sell back these masterwork items if we do not need them? For half price or full?

As far as I knew, Warforged COULD wear regular items but they also had the option of embedded components.
I figured that we didnt just have vaults of coins lying around (yet!) of course.
I have played both warforged of a few different classes and artificers of a few different races, to include a warforged artificer in 3.5.
I was planning on going with the Mark of Making and sticking with House Cannith, but i am still toying with the idea of not doing so. are there notable differences between cannith warforged and the ones created locally at the outpost?

My meaning was the two rolls were for the two tables the bottom of that page. The second table is some unique manner that your appearance is changed, you rolled 51 Shadow: animated. I have made four Aasimar's with this randomness and gotten 76 Other: always look clean each of the four times for the random appearance change.
In Jade Regent, I once was exploring a house we found in the woods before heading North and in this house was a privy that my Aasimar Sorc detected magic within. Our over-zelious barbarian surprised me, and tossed me in there knowing that i couldnt get dirty so he Thought i wouldnt care so we could find the item we had come here to aquire. Sadly that was sitting on a table in the one room we hadnt cleared yet. I found a sphere of Silver bout palm sized that had continual light cast upon it under the crap..

Its been a good 5 years and ive yet to read through everyone that we beta-testing rule wise, but that was my goal tonight. That and finishing up the fluff for my Dwarf in the Venture Town tale.
I never actually played a warfoged, but i played that Eston Lanthis i mentioned, he was at the point we retired Artificer 20, Dragonmarked Heir 5, Guildmaster 5(from one of the Altoric Entertainment books iirc) at level. Ive made more magical items then i knew what to do with. Our DM tried out a feat every level which basically broke things as we were soo powerful, even with no gear at all. At level 20 and 5th in guildmaster and Heir he gave me a free feat that basically made my craft reserve never reset when i leveled, which really broke things. We had
There was a racial feat that granted wooden armor instead of the default metal i know cuz we had two druidic warforged over the years, but i do not see it in the list of warfoged feats. I was going to use it for them but as thats not the case. The forged ones created here can be given Cold-Iron Tracery. No Psi-forged until you find some Crystals to make them with or grow some. No Adamantine bodies until you find Adamantine.
For yourself. If you want to be the first one born here, Eston would send enough materials for whichever of the bodies you wish your character to have.
I have to find E'Lanthis but in his binder he has a full listing of the Schema's needed to create a warforge based on a vary extensive reading of all eberron related things 3.5 wise and the books. Eston has given the Forgekeeper a copy of every record the house has on Creation of the Forged Ones and all relivant scemias. Unfortunatly due too some issues when we had to lead the attack upon Zorlan, he was able to use a rod of cancellation upon the only two schema's remaining for making Titans.. So they can not be forged until the path is researched again.
Far as the armor thing. I really thought that 3.5 did it with feats for armor where 4.0 did with just normal armor fitting the warforged.
Far as misc magic/jewlery i thought it all had to be embedded, or if not I wasted ALOT of resources doing that for the forged ones i led against the lord of blades. When we reclaimed cyre at the campaign.
Other noticeable differences. All Warforged created on Eberron are age 5+, Well Merrix kept the forge we have here running in sharn until the day before it got moved here in secret, only creating a few a year as his private corps of trusted followers. Any born here is a druid, for whatever reason you are not aware of that is the faith of all created on this world. and but a few days old. Though fully aware and all that.
The question really is Do you want to be Newly Forged or have you been around a few years so far? Max age you can be is 48 years, if you were born in 965 (first warforged to be born with a soul and not just be a construct)
I know that was a lot long winded.. but its my ramble time apparently :D
Feorinia
Looking you over assessing your physical condition and age in a glace Klokk nods in agreement with your assessment.
"The fates are deceptive though, things can change in the blink of a moment. If you choose to bear no arms, i will not gainsay you. But please accept this Hanbo (masterwork vary ornately carved)"
It does bear some sort of enchantment but from some reason it is blocked me, I even used the last charge of my ring of wishes to scry it and i was told "The answer is not for you to find, seek out the wise one and give it to her" Perhaps you are Her. None should be able to tell an older lady give up your walking stick."
"Also perhaps you might find this Crystal of use. It was given to me by one of the Psiforged within House Cannith. That unit claimed to have forseen my need of this item. I have expanded my full reputar of magics upon it to no avail. Perhaps with your mind you can unlock its secret."
"The relevant portion of my library is in this new plane, under the watch of my trusted friend Joel, who is a human but a very good soul and amazing with research. You are more then welcome to pursue your studies. Though there are no histories, as we no nothing of this world save for 20 miles around us it appears to be virgin woods and hills with a couple mountains and an ocean of fresh water."
If you take the small crystal, roll a spellcraft check to attempt to ID it.
I just finished creating a map of 100 hexs around the outpost. Ill get the Known Lands version of the map scanned tonight or tomarrow so you guys can see what the nearby area looks like. And write up the Kingdom Block. (just havnt done all the math yet)
Feorina the Archpsion |
Spellcraft: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (8) + 9 = 17
Knowledge(Arcana): 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (5) + 9 = 14
Knowledge(Psionics): 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (10) + 9 = 19
UMD: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (1) + 8 = 9 (if above succeed)
Feorina accepts the gifts and bows as much as her legs can let her.
I think I have something to use as a bonded item now. What time are we starting up?
Fabricator |
I will put my character together tonight.
As far as all that you've said, I am not exactly clear. the most expansive eberron-to-pathfinder conversion presents warforged like so: link.
As shown, they have the basic +2 but it is now natural armor, and they must procure and may wear armor as anyone else. That said, I am open to changing it if that is what you want. Ideally, I would like some sort of fusion between psionic body and mithral body.
The artificer as presented in the conversion basically gets all the psionic versions of creation feats, so i can support our expedition's psions as well as standard magical characters, and i would like to have a psionic body to be able to use some items that require it.
I am not opposed to having been created here with the materials sent by E'Lanthis for my creation, as he saw a need for a treasurer in the colony. I would plan to later become dragonmarked (making).

Feorina
As you go to bow, Klokk reaches a hand under your shoulder to lift you back up. "There is never a need for That with me lass."
Looking at the Crystal you know intrinsically that is a Psi-crystal bearing three charges, one each of Astral Traveler, Cloud Mind and Sharpened Edge. You also know that after you use the third power upon it it will shatter into dust and float away on the astral winds.
Will see where we are at tomarrow (sunday), once i finish my homework for this and another campaign. I will edit the 2nd post in this thread to show your names and which roles you wish to take.. that way others can see which kingdom roles are available still. If im reading things right we have 5 or 6 players atm, Not too sure as some of you have different names then you did in the other thread.
Fabricator
Maybe it was just a feat in one of the fluff books, Ill look though what remains of my eberron collection and see if i can find it.
Far as your body goes. Do you want to start with both, or maybe add the crystals to your mithril frame? Also i do not see the mithril body feat on your page.
https://sites.google.com/site/eberronpathfinder/conversion-info/feats/warfo rged-feats
As an artificer yourself I can fully see you enhancing yourself. I will say that Forged ones, because of the presence of the Forge, may take disregard the 1st level only restriction on the various body feats.
Then it is done, You Fabricator were the first Forged One born on the new world. You were grown for a purpose. That purpose is for you to discover. :) Welcome to the newforged House Cannith. In the past few months you have learned all about the history of warforged on Eberron. You know everything the 300 Warforged here know or thought was important to impart to you. You spent 1 day working with each of the 300 Forged Ones, they each taught you something important each day. Then you started training in finances, math assorted accounting pratices, scams that are typically tried (so you know how to detect and ignore them) ETC
Far as the Mark of Making, Basically consider yourself human with regard to anything related to either the Marks or the House.

yes mithril body isnt on the conversion. i believe this is because those feats were modified because the conversion warforged wear regular armor. for instance, the adamantine body feat just gives DR rather than setting a higher base armor. the mithril body has no real benefit other than straddling the gap between unarmored and adamantine. so i will drop the mithril idea and stick with psiforged.
but yeah i guess i will start with a psiforged body, and probably pick up the dragonmark feat for my next feat.

Yeah that makes sense, about them wearing armor. Why did you opt to go that direction with the warforged conversion? Just to make things easier with their being one type of warforged, not 100000000 different models?
You are a proto-type. I will give you the psiforged body for free. A gift from E'Lanthis for being the second warforged to show the mark of marking. Perhaps one day you will hear the Legend of 13, which funny enough was the 13th Warforge created ever, which is where he came up with his name from.
Klokk |
General: Vacant, tentatively filled.
Grand Diplomat: Feorina, Lashunta
Heir Designate: Vacant
High Priestess: Samanthia, Human (welcome to replace her if you wish)
Magister: Bane88 claimed, Wizard not rolled yet.
Marshal: vacant
Spymaster: Bloodydove claimed. Witch not rolled yet.
Treasurer: Fabricator, Forged one
Warden: Usul, Lizardman
Explorer: Resnit, Aasimar (willing to step up as General if none else do)
Unless I missed something in the thread, this is what we have.
We need a General, Unless Resnit wishes to do that instead of explorer. I would recommend that warlord i linked above its a fun class
We need a Marshal.
We need a Heir Designate. Klokk will only stay on for until next spring, then his other duties will force him to leave when the Doorway opens next. This person will be the ruler after hes gone. Unless you wish to create a council or other type of governing body to rule after hes gone.

I just went with the conversion because i wanted to try it out. i had heard a lot of good things about tzizimine's conversion. there WAS another artificer conversion i was looking at but i figured i would choose this one since it has a robust support system in the form of the other feats and classes and such of the same conversion (meaning everything plays nice together). If this character dies i might play a human artificer of the other conversion just to give it a swing. or maybe if we are playing multiple characters each i will give it a try.Klokk |
I got confused for a moment.. Ive looked though a skew of artificers and none of them have had the same feel as Tizizimines does.. It basically captures everything i remember from Eston, and what i wish i woulda have been able to do (the psi based crafting) Will see how balanced it is against everyone else when we get started.
