quick feats

Advice

Quick Dirty Trick and such, can you use them with AOO ?
if so - can you link the part in the rules that say that?

thanks

For reference, here is the benefit text for Quick Dirty Trick:

Quote:
On your turn, you can perform a single dirty trick combat maneuver in place of one of your melee attacks. You must choose the melee attack with the highest base attack bonus to make the dirty trick combat maneuver.

Since the feat can only be used on your turn and only with an attack at your highest base attack bonus, you could only use it on attacks of opportunity that occur on your turn and use your highest base attack bonus. Even that might be stretching the feat's intent, as the way the "highest base attack bonus" clause is written suggests it was meant to apply to full attacks. However, I doubt the more literal interpretation would be unbalanced.

I'm not sure what other feats you're referring to with the "and such," so I can't comment on those.

Quick reposition, quick disarm, etc

It doesn't look like it since dirty trick is a standard action the feat only allows you to replace your highest BAB attack on your turn.

AoO do not happen on your turn. Your DM could rules otherwise, but I don't think that is the intention of the feat.

Reposition is also a standard action. You can only replace AoO with maneuvers that replace attacks, like trip or disarm.

Thanks. I don't see Quick Disarm, which makes sense; all characters can replace an attack with a disarm, so there's no need for the feat. However, I see Quick Bull Rush, Quick Dirty Trick, Quick Drag, Quick Reposition and Quick Steal. All of these feats have the same wording as Quick Dirty Trick, so the same interpretation applies to them. You can't use them with an attack of opportunity unless you have a way to get an attack of opportunity on your turn at your highest BAB.

You can get attacks of opportunity on your turn by tripping an opponent using Greater Trip. I'm sure there are other ways, but in general, I agree with your assessment.
