Some folks have asked about the status of this project. I had to push back the kickstarter due to several freelancing commitments. We are going to start releasing information about the book as a series of blog posts from the main author, Timothy Brannan, in January on the Misfit Studios blog. I've lined up books from Morgan Boehringer and Megan Robertson, as well, so they will post information about their projects too.
I'm VERY excited about this project, and I hope you will be as well. I want to get the word out leading into the kickstarter, which I expect to go live late Feb or early March, depending on where we stand with our promotional information at that time.
This is going to be a HUGE book. HUGE, I say. :)

Tim Brannan's post on the book's inspiration is up on the Misfit Studios blog. Tim will be writing a few blog posts on the topic. If you have questions, please ask here or on the blog. Misfit Studios has a Facebook page, as well, where you can post.

Adding that Morgan Boehringer, Forest Guardian Press publisher and author of the gauntlet witch for Kobold Press, named the Strange Brew series. Morgan will be writing about battle witches in his own book in this series.
Megan Robertsom my co-author on Way of the Witch (Citizen Games), will be doing a Book of Shadows.

So, I confess ignorance to the 3.x/4/Next Warlock class;
I've been reading the book(s) by Erin M. Evans in her D&D series 'Brimstone Angels' which features a Warlock character, Farideh. As I understand it, they make a deal with the devil and get their powers, yadda yadda ya. Good stuff, love the characters and the dynamic.
My question is, I can see Fiends tempting mortals with power, but are there any options for Good- or Neutral- aligned extraplanar entities having Warlocks? Is that perhaps something that might be considered for this project as well?
In either case, I'm still looking forward to this book :) And knowing the starting date lets me keep my eye open, so I don't miss any early-birdyness :D

Demons, Devils and the like are always an option. But I also want to have support of all sorts of Patrons of Power. So ancient Fey, mysterious beings from beyond the stars, eldritch spirits and I am even toying with the idea of ancient primal dragons.
Patrons have a 1000 reasons to want a human servant.
So yes, you can play a wicked witch, but also neutral witches and good witches.

Tim's got another blog post on the Misfit Studios blog. The cover art by Peter Bradley is up on the post, as well. Check it out! I personally think it's gorgeous. :)
Btw, what kind of pledges would you like to see on this kickstarter? I've modeled this more after Green Ronin's Advanced Bestiary, but I'm open for suggestions.

I think in general the levels which GR used for the Advanced Bestiary were both reasonable and fair, although if you are planning 'package deal' pledges (such as GR:AB's 'Freeport Beast'), a sub-level for limited-time snatch-em-up's would be nice- although hardly necessary.
Is it February yet?

As Bite Me! Is going into editing, I could do a deal like that for those who missed out on that book. Anyone interested in that?

Looking foreword to seeing "Battlewitches and Hexcrafters"....hope the release is soon.
My buddy Morgan will be blogging about his intentions on that piece soon. He is listed as a stretch goal. If it doesn't reach that level, I will try yo fund that through another venue separately.

... ok, just saw (or maybe I read it wrong) that the original Bite Me! was only available HC in limited quantities. Hmm. Well, a Hardcover SB:UW&W + Softcover Bite Me! would also be cool.
Hey, I can provide another level for an HC version. If you want all-out Bite Me! (meaning the 4 other pdfs) I'll be giving the backers for free from the project, then those could be added in as well.
Let me know, and I'll get you a pledge level made.
