Why Can't Paizo Staff take crticism without banning people

Pathfinder Society

Why does Paizo feel the need to straight up ban someone without a warning because they are critical of their products?

Not a great business practice.

Couldn't tell ya, as I've no idea of the situation. However, I'd be pretty sure more problems will follow with a handle like that.

One person's "ban without warning" is another person's "how did he not see that coming", Mr Hammer.

yeah, no doubt.... Even if you had some legitimate complaint you lost all legitimacy by having created a a user with the obvious intent to be a troll... I give this thread a 30 minute lifespan at most.

Pretty sure the banning had something to do with a personal attack against a staff member on the boards, not criticism of a product. At least, the post I saw that made me say, "Wow, is he for real?" would be deserving of it.

Making new accounts on here to continue to post inflammatory remarks really just shows it was well deserved.

And if you are the same poster, and are stationed in Germany, I am ashamed to have worn the same uniform you do. You are a discredit to the armed forces sir.

Out of curiosity: WIth Paizo employing a language filter (which I don't exactly approve of, but that's another thing)... how can a nick like the OP's get registered at all?

Don't feed the trolls! :)

Flag and move on folks. Don't feed the trolls :)

Didn't you post something that got removed, then repost it, then post it to an external site and link it from a new post, and so on?

I've already flagged you for your first name. When you grow up, I'll be willing to hear what you have to say, until then, your account needs to be banned.

I see a situation like this, and I think "How can this person believe they're in the right, and that their behavior is okay? Don't they listen to the people who tell them otherwise?"

Then I think back on all the times someone told me I was doing something wrong, but I came away still believing I was in the right.

Rather sobering thought, at least to me. :(

You loose...but I see that the Forum Iron Golems are hard at work removing said posters other inflammatory posts.

If you roll over his name, the filter is in place in the pop up, but not in the displayed name.

Something Gary may be interested in knowing.
