Bruno Breakbone |
2 people marked this as a favorite. |
Bruno once handsome and strong Tetori monk.
Then Bruno found shelter in the Refuge of Time, tasted the sweet Cultist's Kiss and heard the Word of the Ancients.
Some Pathfinders call Bruno 'oathbreaker' and whisper that he tarnish Silver Crusade. Others shun him because of his broken reputation.
But Bruno know truth.
They are jealous.
Bruno even handsomer and stronger than before.
It no matter if Bruno now ex-monk and his clothes dirty and his beard long and unkempt and other Pathfinders no trust Bruno.
Bruno is both very afraid and extremely excited to see how everything end for Bruno (and others like Bruno).

What if Paizo decides to make 'The Waking Rune' the debut of a mythic opponent in PFS.
Think about it.
a. Krune is the most powerful enemy the Society has ever faced.
b. He has gathered eldritch powers for over 10,000 years.
c. We know that the Mythic system can be incorporated for normal level play, and that ordinary adventurers versus mythic opponents is possible under the system.
d. We know that a mythic fireball deals 1d8s, puts you on fire, has higher DC, etc.
e. He is the representative of the goddess Lissala's will on Golarion.
There is every chance that this dude might be throwing out mythic lightning bolts and mythic sleep spells.
This could get REAAAAAL ugly.

A) Krune would never be so tawdry and throw a fireball. He would have someone else do it for him. Do you really think he would exert himself for a fireballs benefit?
B) Mythic system is unlikely to ever seen PFS use
C) Hes the Runelord of Sloth. People wont want to fight him even if they originally did. It's just too much effort.

A man looking like Fabio, but more attractive, with extremely long blond hair:I passed on the tramp stamp because I knew Torag would be displeased, but I unwittingly ate a poor man's soul, thinking I was just getting my own back. I apologized to Torag, and I still have the sweet abs.

We know from JJ that Krune is at the bottom of the list of Runelords in terms of power, down there with Belimarius of Envy. And Karzoug, middle of the pack, is level 20 with no mythic tiers. Thus, all those above Karzoug would have mythic tiers. Those below Karzoug would not. Since we know that all Runelords are single-classed wizards with no archetypes other than Thassilonian Specialist, Krune is probably like an Azlanti Wizard 17 (Thassilonian Specialist) or so.
