What topics often reach high post counts, despite the fact that they never break new ground or resolve anything?
1: Alignment (double effectiveness if about Paladin code)
2: Monks are underpowered
3: Rogues are outclassed
4: Powergaming is evil

There was one particular poster who was suspiciously good at such things, so I'd say whatever they posted. But they now seem to be gone....
The new errata on the Monk implies that the Monk threads actually have led to some new ground being broken.

I've seen threads that made no mention of monk in the title turn into monk flame wars. If that happens here, I will publicly Damn all you're souls to burn eternally in the pits of he'll just before I hide the thread and walk away.

Just want to say down to earth gaming for me .isnt game of thrones. It's just not trying to build space stations and kill asmodeous with spheres of annihilation with all my stats in the 30s or much much higher.

To be fair its usually about how they think its unreasonable that something isn't allowed(I think anyway). I actually haven't seen one of those threads in a while. PFS itself is a can of worms because it has special rules that not everyone agrees with. Usually the threads get a rise when someone refuses to accept the current rules I think. Or when you mention fractional BAB. That went horribly wrong...
Speaking of which, Fractional BAB and if its RAW or not I did see get a rise once.

I apologize to all people that expected a different type of rise. I was considering titling this thread "How to troll the forums with a single post" or something like that, but decided against it (as often the case is these topics are made by innocents who don't know what they're starting).
This topic is mostly for fun and also for the slim hope that people will be able to recognize troll topics and take necessary precautions.

No you need a phd in system mastery and even then you only match a core fighter.

Ok, now you've got me wanting to come up with a definition for forumites.

That's all I've got so far. I figure anyone so distracted by the forum won't notice much else around them, thus the low init and perception. Also, low light vision from adjusting to having a computer monitor as their only light source half the time.
