Just a shot in the dark, any one out there wanting to start up a hackmaster 4th edition game on here?? I would love to get my Gnome Titan Battle Mage on.

I'd love to give HM a go, but do you think it can work pbp? everything goes by seconds so players would have to be checking in constantly

The standard round for most RPGs is 3.6 seconds. So if you do it that way than it works.

I'm talking more mechanically, at least from the demo strip of KoDT I saw about this. most but not all characters have something to do every few seconds in combat, whether it be slowing from a run to a jog, a coup de grace, attack/active defend or such.

its the same for the older editons which are played on PBP else where. I don't see why we wouldn't be able to adapt it to fit in a PBP format
