General Note.
We are coming to the conclusion of Part 1, and this means your Chronicle sheets will be distributed fairly soon. In order to make sure we can roll pretty quickly into the next scenario I'd like to get the sheets out as quickly as possible once the adventures conclude, so that I can move thr group right along.
In order to aid that please consider the following:
*If you are unable to continue on to part II (real life issues etc) please let me know so I can get a replacement.
*If you haven't already, please IM me your PFS details (Name, Email addy, PFS Number and character number (ie 'XXXXX-Y')
*If your character is entitled to a Day Job roll, please just roll it here (Applicable ONLY if you have a relevant Day Job skill)
*You will be issued a chronicle sheet to the value of approx 400 gold and 2 prestige points., start thinking about what you might need to buy.
Cheers!

This is my first ever Society character, (and my second Pathfinder character, my first is also still level one) so could you point me to where I need to look to understand what prestige points are, day job, etc.
I'm happy to continue to Part 2 as well, am I correct in assuming we need to pick and finalize a faction soon?

Sweet, just a few more details pending, and I have PM'd those I still need info from. I have just whacked a spreadsheet up to track them all so I can ensure the process is slick going forward; ahh the things yuo learn when GM'ing PbP for the first time eh?
Kish (and all those sorta new)
At the conclusion of the scenario, all items etc found during the scenario are 'handed in' (ie anything you find you don't actually keep) and instead each member is given a Chronicle sheet with an amount of money they earned as their 'share' (which is always a fixed amount in a given scenario).
So you guys will gain about 400 odd gold each at the end of this.
On the sheet will be a number of items you could choose to purchase, as not all Magic Items are 'always available', and if you wish to obtain the items on the sheet you can purchase them from your 400(or purchase them at a later date from future income). You can spend or save the money you earn, so if you dont spend cash now, by the end of the next scenario you would have enough for a pretty nice weapon, or you might buy something now like a M/Work chain shirt and then save towards a weapon... whatever tickles your fancy. Masterwork Thieves tools are also nice to have! May I also suggest a couple of Alchemist fire and a Holy Water or two are almost a must have ASAP as well.
You will also receive Prestige and Fame (2 points). Prestige is a figure you can accumulate and spend as you wish, and the things you can spend it on are in the Field guide, however for 2PP you can buy a 750gp item, and often people buy a wand of CLW or the like. You cant later SELL that wand, but its a handy thing to buy. Other options are available in the PFS field guide and a couple of other sourcebooks.
Fame simply accumulates as you level away, and is your overall status to the Society (which unlocks how much wealth you are allowed to spend on items) and a few other bennies.
Thats a REALLY rough description!
TL:DR - You will hand in all the items found during this adventure, you will get a sheet providing you with 400gp odd instead, you might want to buy some holywater/Alchy fire, you might want to spend 2pp on a healy wand.

Everyone staying on at this point apparently...
So far I have all 12 players continuing as far as I am aware.
Will involve differing terrain and tactics once again, whereas this was largely an urban adventure, you have not been exposed to dungeon or outdoor adventures; expect this to be addressed over the next two scenarios

Congrats Alpha group on completing Part 1, you should all find Chronicle sheets in sent to your email addresses. Any questions queries or doubtful points about the sheets, or even the scenario, feel free to ask.
9.30PM Thursday night here, I'll e kicking off Part 2 tomorrow afternoon.
I assume Bravo will also begin Part 2 tomorrow.
Part 2 has a soft start so there will be time to shop etc before you get to the meat of it.

Just realized I didn't make my Day Job check. Is it too late for that, now that the sheet's been sent out?
If it is, I'll just chalk it up as a lesson learned. Not a big deal.
If it's not: Perform: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (2) + 8 = 10

***
Last call for shopping, I kicked forward a bit early with the other group and they still needed to shop!
I was going to ask when we'd be able to some shopping.
to clarify - we can spend the gold we received on our sheets on any mundane equipment? and/or the items on our Chronicle sheets?
and we can also spend the Prestige Points on equipment that listed in the field guide?

Your 2pp can be spent or saved, and as mentioned above a 750gp wand is usually where it gets spent.
As someone who could cast CLW but can't, I just spent mine there.
Masterwork backpack (50 gp)
Pantograph (50 gp)
Parchment x5 (1 gp)
Wrist sheath (1 gp, storing the CLW wand)
Signal whistle (8 sp)
Holy water x2 (50 gp)
Do we need to record the PP or gold expenditures anywhere?
Also, I assume my poison damage heals by the next adventure?
Edit: Dang it! I just erased half my profile due to carelessness when I pasted in my new gear. I don't suppose anyone happens to have it open in a tab who can send me the old version?

Speaking of PP, can I save them up and use them together? Like buy a 1500gp of something for 4pp?
Not that I am aware of...except for things like rezzes and raise deads in the future. That tends to be a good reason to hold PP aside.

Yep, write the transactions on your chronicle sheets to track them...
Anything items sold you get back 50%.And yes all wounds heal etc.

We can "re-spec" as much as we want prior to level 2 right? Can we change completely i mean from a fighter to a ranger or only archetypes like from 2 hand fighter to archer fighter? Or only feats and stats? I'm guessing you can't return the things you bought already.

![]() |

Lol wouldn't it be cheating if I use my 2 PP to purchase a wand of cure light wounds then later switch to ranger which has the cure light wounds as a spell but level 2 instead of level 1?
NVM found the answer lol

![]() |

We would be screwed in that case, but I often mirror corners or use a periscope in these games which reminds me to buy both next shopping trip! Hahaha.

No way, just get a strong character to tie a halfling to a stick and shake it around corners.
ROFL! Whoops, there goes my alignment! XD

Shifty |

Team Alpha are rapidly closing on the end (2 days?), Bravo is a couple of days behind them...
So with that being said:
* If you are planning on dropping before Part III, let me know asap.
* If you have a Day Job roll, please pop it here prior to the end of this scenario (so I don't redo sheets)
* Start thinking ahead to potential purchases, I will have a day of downtime between sessions to allow for that stuff, then we will roll on (where you will still have a day to shop).
Also, think about what Factions you are planning on joining if you aren't sure yet, then I can ensure you get logged correctly.
Cheers!

Shifty, do you treat prehensile hair as primary or secondary natural attack? I saw one thread saying that it is secondary but if it's the only natural attack you did then you treat it as primary.

![]() |

It is a secondary natural attack, however if a creature has only one natural attack, it is always made using the creature’s full base attack bonus and adds 1-1/2 times the creature’s Strength bonus on damage rolls.
In this case, the above would apply. If you used a weapon and your hair, then the hair would be treated as secondary. Should you get another form of natural attack (claws, wings, bite, tentacles etc), then the hair would be treated as secondary.
