Welcome to new Venture-Captain of Vancouver, Canada!

Grand Lodge 4/5 Pathfinder Society Campaign Coordinator

I wanted to take a minute to welcome Ashton Green as the new VC of southern British Columbia, specifically Vancouver.

I will let Ashton introduce himself, advise what websites he will be using to coordinate and organize PFS, and any other info he wishes to announce.

Welcome to the team!

Yay! More Canucks in the ranks! And I'm not talking about the chronically disappointing Hockey Team, either. ;)

Bienvenu :)

Thank you all for the welcome.

I'll be putting together some plans over the next few days.

One of our local GMs, Michael Beck, recently started to transition our events to meetup.com/Vancouver-Lower-Mainland-PFS which is something we'll be using to coordinate games locally.

Hey Ashton!

Good to finally have a neighbor to the north!

Get in touch with me anytime you'd like, as I have a few games that are on your border closer to you then they are to me ;p

In addition to that...I have contact info for you for the Gottacon folks!

Don't be a stranger!

Welcome Ashton!

Hope to meet you in person come PaizoCon, PAX, or failing that -- GottaCon '14!

Welcome fellow British Columbian! Glad to have you aboard.

Lantern Lodge 2/5

Congratulations!

Actually, I'm friends with the Gottacon guys, so I've got their contact info. Unless you mean the PFS guys at Gottacon, in which case I managed to find them recently also.

This year I attended primarily to get a society character from level 1 to level 2.

I'm hoping to head down to PaizoCon with a buddy.

Nice to see a lower mainland VC; I was always kind of surprised that the only VC that seemed to be in BC was fairly far away.

I'm not actually in Vancouver myself, but Squamish, which means I'll probably almost never get down to Vancouver events per se. I do some online on Myth-Weavers, though, and am going to start running some PFS games at the Uni where I teach.

Are you going to try to have any PFS at VCON next October? I will probably be giving a few talks and being on a few panels at the convention (I usually give science talks), but I'd be interested in playing in and GMing a PFS game or two as well if you manage to get anything together. There usually aren't that many roleplaying games running at VCON (I don't know if you've been there), but there are some, and with some advertising I think that a handful of PFS games could easily gather enough audience.

Welcome aboard, Ashton! I'll be coming through Van on the way to PaizoCon and again for work in the fall, I'll have to swing by a game!
