The Unofficial Top 32 Guildhall with Golden Filigree

This Guildhall requires 24 hours from the time of this post to attune to this year's Top 32.

Once this year's Top 32 have been attuned and announced, they are invited to hang out here in the Guildhall. As usual, Top 32 finalists and alternates from all years of RPG Superstar are also welcome to stop by and join in the conversation. In addition, this year's Guildhall is open to all 2013 Champion Voters, regardless of their Top 32 status.

If you are a new Guildhall patron, please note that the Guildhall is a public thread that anyone can read. Be sure not to post anything herein that would be grounds for disqualification. Also, please refrain from damaging or removing the golden filigree which was added to the Guildhall during recent renovations. Thank you, and enjoy your stay.

I dunno about chairs, but there are plenty of magical pillows and bedrolls around. They'll all give you a wonderful rest (especially if you've eaten from any of the half-dozen magical soup-pots and dinner tables), but there's an 11% chance that your head will explode at midnight. Unless you're a half-bleached gnome or possibly an elf.

hmmm... seems nice... i don't really remember what it looked like last year though- i mostly just remember a bunch of us wrapped in blankets, drinking hot chocolate and consoling one another.

It is such a novel idea. Oh I think I may add that to next years submission.

Maybe a Gold Filigree necklace with Silver Filigree around the edges.

How about an item that applies filigree to other items and gives you a +5 bonus to Craft: filigree checks?

You know, the number of people next year who will use filigree will probably drop considerably. That could mean that if you want to stand out, your item should use filigree.

This doesn't stop him from noting Sean's arrival through the veil covering his face, so he awakens long enough to wave hello. He then returns to his slumber, to awaken on the morrow.

Congratulations to the Top 32. You made it in! Some of your items were outstanding, some were satisfactory, and some I did not care for. But that doesn't matter anymore - you made it past the judges. They saw potential and gave you a shot. Now you need to impress the voters, yet keep in mind that the first posts after your submission will still be what the judges think of your ideas and writting.

Remember rule #5! You will be so tempted to respond to comments, remark on other people's submissions, or just drop a single word to answer all the questions. Don't do it. Paizo is not afraid to disqualify for this behavior. When voting is open, I recommend not making a single post in the Superstar forum. Avoid taking about your stuff anywhere else for that matter. Spend your time thinking and writting about the next assignment.

What Garrett said. I have to admit I'm bummed not to get a chance to compete again. It was so much fun last time.

That said, congrats to the newcomers to the Guildhall (and of course the repeat entrants)! Looking forward to seeing what you do in the archetype round and beyond.

My personal advice for the competition? Swing for the fences every time out. Don't EVER try to play it safe.

Also, remember, the new rules are NO COMMENTS AT ALL on your submissions while voting is open, not even thanking the judges and the old boilerplate.
