depending on which form you worship you get a different additional domain
Holy crap..."who takes on thousands of forms" - from the wiki-
I think that's a little too complex for me. I'm kinda new to GMing and that's just way too many options. :P
But, I think I'm going to put this info in my pocket. I could totally use his different aspects in another campaign, in which there are opposing cults who are actually worshiping the same god...that could be fun.

Oooh, you could also try to do a conversion of the Chaos Gods from Warhammer. That way you can somehow involve expies of famous characters like Eliphas THe Inheritor, Araghast the Pillager, or Sindri....SSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIINNNNNNNNNDDDDDDDDDDDDDRRRR RRRRRRRRRRIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIII!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

But broken, corrupt, or otherwise "well huh, that didn't go as planned" type prophecies could be remarkably amusing from a Dark Tapestry themed perspective.

The first part of the prophecy is about summoning 4 gods to fight back the madness coming.
The second part is going to pretty much say that the ensuing war is bringing about the end time.
I don't know, I'm just kind of winging it...in fact all this info from today is for the game in about an hour *sigh*

Kinda going with rival cults of the same god theme, have you thought about Nethys http://pathfinderwiki.com/wiki/Nethys
He is a mad god with both creative AND destructive aspects... You could write one half of the prophecy for each aspect and develop them in dark parallel to each other. As a twist, have his creative aspect be the evil side in this conflict- nothing says his creative side has to be the GOOD one...
And of course, legends hold him as an ancient Osiriani pharaoh, so that opens up possible connections with the Old Ones.

if you want gods with rival aspects as well as ravel churches check out Arcanis: the world of shattered empires..
the BEST gods I have ever seen used.. they all lack alignment and have multiple good and bad aspects...
Their 250 page world book is free on their website, it's still the d20 version so an easy convert to pathfinder

If you're not dead-set on having the prophecy come directly from a divine being, you could always use norns to deliver the prophecy. Their powers of insight come from the First World, which is not divine but seems to have skirted some of the complications of Aroden's death.
Plus, norns are just awesome!

The First Part made me think of Majora's Mask.
The Second Part made me think of Drakengard.
The third thing: That is how most GMs handle most of their campaigns minor details.
