Is there a chance Firefly could return? Alan Tudyk seems to think so.

Anybody remember Journeyman on NBC?

It was a variant on Quantum Leap that included Moon Bloodgood. It started to pick up steam and get interesting towards the end of the season, and then the stupid writers' guild strike put the kibosh on it.

Liberty's Edge

The Fades
and, which still hurts the most...
FIREFLY!!!
Oh, and Bonanza :) (just kidding) But is there any other series with 14(!) Seasons?

Did I mention FIREFLY, already?!

Nathan won the people's choice award (twice), Joss is flying high and working on a new show, Alan still thinks it could happen. And none of them have stopped thinking about it.

Castle's not my cuppa, but I can see why it's popular. Should be winding down once S.H.I.E.L.D. is up and running. A reboot would rock.

Liberty's Edge

I like Castle. Most of the actors don't look like they are playing roles, it comes really natural.
Anyway - just to keep pressure on them...

did I mention FIRELFY?! :)

If only the stories weren't so bad.

This is a dark day.

Lol, never heard anyone get so animated regarding the casting of brothers before.

And, indeed, Moon Bloodgood is the hotness.

Re: Caprica

I wonder sometimes if the idea would be better explored in alternative media (novels, comics etc.) Part of what intrigued me was the culture of the colonies, things that bore people with short attention span.

Aside. Whoever told Alessandra Torresani that the peroxide blond looks good on her should be shot. In public.

I'd add
13 War of the Worlds.
14 Brimstone
15 New Amsterdam.

Gotta disagree on Alessandra. She is hot in any color hair. Moon Bloodgood is hot too. And Maggie Q. And Michelle Branch. Oh hell, most of em are hot when you are 46....

Oh, almost forgot: Reaper.

Well it had two seasons but it was cancelled on the BIGGEST CLIFFHANGER EVER.

"Well, the main character AND his girlfriend are screwed because an angel just crushed his hand like it was a summer sausage. Tune in next season to find out what happens next!"

CANCELLED.

"NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!"

Just came across a show called Death Valley today on netflix. Best way to describe it would be Reno 911 if they were chasing down zombies, vampires, and werewolves.

Not the best show ever but i sat through the whole series and enjoyed it quite alot.

I think Alien Nation had an even worse cliffhanger, with the survival of an entire species hanging in the balance, possibly an unresolved pregnancy, and some other stuff.

I also liked the season (series?) finale of Sledgehammer, where the main character may have "accidentally" nuked LA.

"SSSSSLLLLEEEEDDDDGGGGEEEHHHHHAAAAAAAAAMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMEEERRRRRRRRRRR!!!!!"

Sorry, none of that is as important as a game of quarters with the Devil when your hand is broke.

What were the stakes? Steaks? Or his soul????

Silver Crusade

I loved Reaper.

This love had nothing to do with Missy Peregrym; who incidentally, I would sell my soul for!

It wasn't done in seasons, and wasn't cancelled (they actually wanted more episodes), but...

The Prisoner

(not the 2009 one)

I do, I really liked it.

It's available on DVD and is pretty good. I've heard there might have been a movie as well, but if so I've never seen it.

Don't bother with the movie (yes it exists), theres no Mandy Patinkin. Just enjoy the series.

Greg

The movie was ok, but it was very very different from the show.

His soul...again. His parents sold his soul before he was born.

Her soul too, now. Kind of a downer ending to the series since it wasn't continued.

That was indeed the first season finale you're thinking of. Actually, due to the show having poor ratings and being regularly screwed by the network, the showrunners assumed renewal wasn't happening and scripted it as a series finale, obviously a rather permanent one. Then the episode aired and for whatever reason the network THEN said 'okay, we'll give you a second season.'
Leaving the production staff to figure out how to get around the fact that they just blew up the entire cast as well as the city.
So then the second season was crafted as a prequel to season one.
Debatably, this is one of those cases where cancelling a show in the first season (at least once the blow-em-up finale had aired), would have resulted in a better experience all around.
