I have a 5th lvl ranger, archery based and decided to add a lvl of Alchemist to the mix. I was mainly adding it for the extracts and mutagens as I do a lot more damage with my bow. However, I started to think about my favored enemy and its pluses to damage. Which made me wonder does it apply to the bombs as well. Lets say I hit a human (+4 FE) with a bomb within 30 feet. Does that mean I do 1d6+1(INT)+1(point-blank)+4(FE) and if so does that mean the splash is 7 points (always the min damage). Thanks in advance.

Thats an good question. Splash damage applies to anyone throwing splash damage items not just alchemist bombs... for example alchemist fire or acid. I would think if a single classed ranger threw a acid flask into a group of 2 humans and a dwarf and they were all in the splash range (and his FE was human) he would add the FE damage to all who qualify. The description of FE reads "At 1st level, a ranger selects a creature type from the ranger favored enemies table. He gains a +2 bonus on Bluff, Knowledge, Perception, Sense Motive, and Survival checks against creatures of his selected type. Likewise, he gets a +2 bonus on weapon attack and damage rolls against them." I can see some ruling that splash damage is not a damage "roll" per se but even if you do not think that it would work on the splash damage it should work on the direct hit from the vial.

Is point blank added to any other class throwing an alchemist fire on the splash damage?
No.
Its the text in the Alchemist sections specifically that says it is the minimum damage the direct hit bomb would do.
The splash damage on Alchemist Fire like you stated above wouldn't apply to FE because you are not making a damage roll for splash damage. It is a set damage that happens as a result, so the FE would apply to the direct hit but not the splash.
