It occurs to me, with 2 Batman creation threads, that we need a general Heroes thread. Who is your hero? How would/have you build/built them? These surely will only be close approximations; especially considering most heroes don't kill (save for some abominations)
Currently I have 2 hero builds and 1 villain build based off of fighters and their arch-types.
1. Captain America: Armored Fighter (not the shielded due to some difference of abilities)
2. Merlyn (the Green Arrow's nemesis: Fighter Archer.
3. The Punisher: Fighter (straight with the ability to use firearms, 'cause I didn't want to use grit)
I can expand on these if people wish me to, but remember these are just variants.

I did something like this a long time ago. Mind you this was for the 3.5 and the d20 starwars games I was playing at the time. It uses level agusments to get the abilitys of the sup and you take your classes from there (a few the person had a custome class like Guyver.)
The website is still up even though I have have not done anything with it since 2008. It can be found Here.
A example is the Thing since you asked. (even though he was very high becouse of the strengt).
+10 Levels
+56 str
+56 con
-5 chr
Feat: Endurence for free.
15+level Resintacne to Fire, Cold.
DR (3/level)/(+1 per every 5 starting at 1) (so it is 3/+1 at one, 16/+2 at 6, 33/+3 at 11 ect.)
Hight weaight (x10 normal).
P.S. I go the origanal str bouses for a human (10) - what str it would take to lift what they could.

I disagree, Benjamin Grimm does not have a penalty to charisma anymore than a Lich (+2) or the Tzitzimitl (+gobs). Yes, he is an ugly rock monster, but ugliness doesn't invoke a penalty to charisma, unimpressiveness invokes penalties to charisma. Plus, he's a big rock monster with horrifying amounts of strength, guys got intimidate to spare, and I know he's got a heck of a poker face. His resistances apply to most things.
His DR is probably X/- where X is whatever number you think a guy who can take shots from The Hulk and keep on coming, sits. Because he doesn't have any real weaknesses aside from raw damage and his will save is something to behold, but that has more to do with the man than the rock monster.

Okay, we have a Paladin in the party called Frank the Tank. We also have a gunfighter (not a gunslinger), and an Armored fighter.
At 6th level these two fighters (gun and armored) will be able to craft magical items in their respective fields. They are going to outfit the paladin with magical armor that can 'deploy' around the him when he wants it to as well as enable him to fly. That is what the Armored fighter will do for him. The gunfighter will create cannons for him...lots of cannons.
Yes, we are making him into War Machine!

These are some I've thought about...
Yomiko "The Paper" Readman = Scroll Master (very high level)
The Paper Sisters
Anita King = Scroll Master/Unarmed Fighter
Michelle Cheung = Scroll Master/Ranger/Arcane Archer
Maggie Mui = She's tough, but I think maybe Scroll Master focusing on conjuration spells and a dip into fighter for her bodyguarding abilities
===
The Birds of Prey
The Huntress = Urban Ranger with crossbow focus
Black Canary = Martial Artist monk archetype (or fighter) with some kind of sonic blast SLA
Lady Blackhawk = Dual wielding pistol gunslinger
Had an idea for Oracle but don't remember what it was... fighter/wizard (Diviner) maybe...
==
Other...
The Incredible Hulk = Alchemist/Master Chymist (but I'd do She-Hulk as some kind of Synthesist Summoner)
Would be interesting to do a Fantastic 4 loosely themed party with elemental builds, either using the "genasi" replacements from the Bestiary 2 or various classes, since their abilities roughly draws on the elemental theme anyway.

I don't know about a link, but there are a bunch of ways for barbarians to get natural attacks now....it's easy enough to call those claws and a few of them already are. Dwarf barbarian wolverines abound!
Also the 3.5 warlock makes an easy Cyclopse...nothing says eldritch blast has to come out of your hands,
Marvel heroes are actually pretty easy...most have one or two powers or operate on a theme. DC is a lot harder to many crazy versatile powers like Green lantern or god level powers like superman.

Black Canary could be done if you have a nice GM that will allow you to replace Scorching Ray with Ear Piercing Scream on the Quigon Monk

I think GL would take a lot more than that...full on ring of TK at a minimum. He clan literally make anything his imagination and willpower can come up with...fully animated hard light constructs...I can't think of a good way to emulate that in pathfinder.
I see him as a Summoner myself.
