Leftover enchilada. Muy sabroso.
A plow man's.
Hunk of sourdough and butter, piece of very sharp chedder, a garlic dill pickel, a carrot, a celery stalk, a hard boiled egg, an apple, a piece of summer sausage, and a quart of grissette. Plus some almonds.
A sandwich made from... leftover sushi.
I'm sure it's gourmet somewhere.
Was making the usual pet walking/sitting trip and was starving (skipped breakfast, running late), so stopped to get a single fast food taco. When I got back home, I had yogurt and a couple handfuls of seedless grapes.

French bread pizza, a dish that would probably be considered an abomination by both French and Italians.
Namely:
1 x semi-baked baguette
1 x jar of ready-made pasta sauce
Onion
Garlic
Mushrooms
Cheese
Stuck in the oven until bread was fully baked and cheese was melted.

Smoked brisket, corn, baked beans, pickels, new potatos with green beans and bacon, cornbread, salad, unsweetened iced tea.
Sweet Potato Fries and a Thai Iced Tea.
A Reuben with an inch of corned beef from the local sandwich shop.
- Smoked turkey, pepperoni, and swiss cheese sandwich
- Campari tomato, quartered, drizzled in olive oil, sprinkled with chopped basil
- 1/4 cup "everything"-flavored hummus and small handful of Buffalo-flavored pretzel crisps
- Short glass of sweetened tea

All the leftover hickory-smoked chopped pork I could cram between two toasted hamburger buns with just enough NC-style tangy BBQ sauce drizzled on it. I am so full, yet I crave MOAR!
Cafeteria food. But cafeteria food is oven-fried breaded chicken, mashed potatoes, and green beans served with country gravy.
Needed that today.
A shawarma plate, kebba, and no sugar vimto.

Two, TWO moar chopped-BBQ pork sandwiches! Ah-ah-ah-ah-ah!
Semi baked macaroni, meatloaf with gravy, Greek salad.
Whitefish salad on a bagel with a salad and a cup of matzo ball soup.
Bratwurst, Schtuppennudeln, er, Schupenudlen, onions, mushrooms and pickles. I really do feel like hefty Hermann now.

My partner's mother is making fajitas. Mmmm.
Sunbird hot and sour soup with eggs, ripped up bread and some frozen broccoli in it to thicken it up.
Baked potatoes, different sorts of cream cheese, lettuce and some grilled meat - far too tired for more lengthy food preparation...
A mound of roast turkey and coarse-ground mustard on sourdough in a sandwich press. My go-to quickie lunch.
Two cimichangas and as many tamales as I could hold in one hand.
Rigatoni bolognese, broccoli rabe and cavarelli, San Pellegrino with lime.

Grilled meats (sausage, chicken, pork), grilled highlander cheese, some bread, some garlic sauce, some garlic butter, tatziki sauce, and some sauce made of veggies. Yum-yum.
Dollar fast-food burrito. Meh.

'Caribbean style' curried chicken (only because it was made with 'Caribbean style' curry powder), with onions, spring onions and mushrooms. An extra chili and a couple of cloves of garlic were also added
Accompanied by mango lassi and chapattis.
2 poached eggs, slice of leftover bacon, 1/2 an everything bagel with salsa cream-cheese...
...and because I skipped breakfast (except coffee) and was still hungry, the other 1/2 of bagel & cream cheese.
Seasoned rice with canned chicken

"Mexican" casserole, namely stewing beef, smoked garlic, chilis, onions, kidney beans, sweetcorn, spring onions, mushrooms, black olives and chicken stock, simmered until just about edible and then stuck in the oven with a bit of cheese melted on it.
Tea. No, I am not British.

Once a month, I take my father's life-long secretary (she's been working with him for more than 40 years) to get her favourite junkfood: KFC. You'd be amazed how much crispy chicken a 71 year-old woman can eat.
And today is that day.
So KFC.
Lots and lots of KFC.
Yesterday's lunch was fried breaded chicken strip on two King Hawaiian rolls with sweet-spicy southwestern sauce, and a very small container of coleslaw. (Total: $2.25 + sales tax at the Target deli)
Today's lunch was a small mountain of chicken fried rice, plus 2 cups of leftover shrimp, crab leg meat, & a clam (from Saturday's family get together) chopped up and stirred in during the last couple minutes cooking. Plus a 12oz glass of orange juice. Ate only half of it and am uncomfortably full.
7 slices of cucumber, a mix of various organic greens, and some Kraft sun-dried tomato dressing. Where's my large-sized #4 with a Dr. Pepper (NO ICE!!) from Burger King??
I don't know whether to mourn or rejoice.
Mediterranian pasta with tomatoes, sweetpepper, zucchini, green onions and green asparagus.
Breakfast, not lunch, but spaghetti and meatballs tv dinner. It's 3:15AM and Fisherman's Wharf is all shuttered up, but I'm at work now and clock in at 4AM. I keep a couple tv dinners in the freezer in the break room, and it's more substantial than the pop tarts in my messenger bag.
Lunch is the macaroni and meat sauce tv dinner.
Cous-cous with tomatoes, avocado, and scallions, along with chicken.
Plan: Minced meat fried with either peas or red beans (not sure which one, I'll decide when I'll be opening cans) and noodles.
Reality: We'll see when I'll be back from shopping...
