A more or less mediterranian hotpot of chopped turkey, tomatoes (homegrown), onions, green onions, garlick, sweet pepper, olives, pepper(homegrown), and zucchini (homegrown).

Just some baozi today, and a sort of deep fried pancake made out of shredded potatoes.

I was on a bus for 10 hours, so no way to get a proper lunch.

The burger was a lie. A tasty lie.

No joke; NorthStar Cafe in Columbus has essentially the only vegan burger I will eat.

A PBJ and a glass of milk. What I WANTED was shawarma. sigh.....

Coffee, most likely. If I'm lucky I can scrounge a tuna sandwich.

Just had sushi with the family.

It's my going-away lunch for my current job! They're taking me out. Gonna get some garlic Parmesan chicken wings, fries, and a diet Dr. Pepper with lemon in it.

And next week I'll be getting a $14,000 raise. So that's nice too.

That will be a lot of chicken wings! Congratulations!

As for myself, it's salmon with caper cream and mashed potatoes for lunch. I think I'll stop by the supermarket to get some icecream too.

How does Broccoli Display compare to standard LCD?

Sczarni

Thanks, Aber and Klaus! I'm thinking it's time to try to convince my wife to let me add another subscription or two...

Chicken cooked in broth, potatoes, some cucumber and tomatoe.

Also, $14,000? Looks on echange rates. I'd love to earn $14,000 a year, I could live like a king for that...

Two slices of homemade pesto pizza with chicken and sliced tomatoes; a watercress and tomato salad; a fresh peach; two fresh plums; a large glass of iced tea.

(I love my CSA Share this time of year!)

Bonus: Hal's Iced Tea Recipe:

Brew a cup of double-strength hot tea. (i.e. use two tea bags, steep for 2 minutes). While that's steeping, fill a glass that has twice the volume as your teacup with ice cubes. Pull out the teabags, and dump the hot tea over the ice. Stir.

Voila! Iced tea!

(N.B. I use a 12-oz coffee cup and a 24-oz glass mug.)

I can never get iced tea right.

I'll try your recipe when I get home tonight.

Based on how much pain they cause the next day on the toilet, I'd say DVDs.

As for today, inviting my mother for some sushi.

Portobello and Roasted Tomato Bisque with a grilled cheese sandwich most likely

Scarab Sages

Hand-carved roast beef sammich!!

Microwaved cheese sandwich on wheat with the blandest cheese on earth (American). And a glass of tea (which I can never get to taste like restaurant tea, no matter how hard I try).

Another TV dinner. Trying to trim down on spending money/eating large meals.

The last of the leftover homemade gazpacho, a pork pate sandwich on whole wheat bread, a banana, two granny smith apples, and a glass of water.

And I shouldn't have, but then I ducked out to the ice cream parlor three doors down for one scoop of coffee ice cream.
