super simple touch attack question

Rules Questions

Been a very frustrating afternoon and I can't seem to find the answer to my absurdly basic question in the book or the PRD.

When I make a touch or ranged touch attack with my sorcerer what attribute bonus do I apply?

Like weapons, so touch is STR and ranged is DEX? Or since it is a spell am I using CHA for both?

Sorry this is such a basic thing but I just can't seem to track it down.

Thank you for any help.

Touch=str
Ranged touch=dex

Like weapons. Strength for melee, Dexterity for ranged.

Thank you!

Note that touch attacks are considered light weapons, so Weapon Finesse would apply, which would let you use Dex for both ranged and melee touch attacks, instead of just ranged.

I'd like to thank you for asking this question. As I now know that Weapon Finesse can be added to touch attacks.
