Well it a'int bedtime as of yet but couldn't help it anyway.
DickovDKs application is
Kallan Viper
Human Rogue of Riddleport
A shady person who basically are just a product of his upbringing. For Game statistic they will be made later as I feel they aren't as important as the actual character concept.
Kallan was born in the streets of Riddleport, into a family of 5 other children. Kallan was the youngest and therefore was somewhat the favorite in his mother’s eyes. His mother was a home going typical woman, taking care of the daily routines while his father roamed the streets. At an early age Kallan was not really aware what profession his father actually had, if any at all. Most of the time his elderly siblings just say that dad is out having a drink with some friends, and it was more often than not that his father came stumbling home drunk.
The Streets of Riddleport are an unforgiving place and before Kallan even reached his teens, he had been involved in a number of scuffles with the local gangs and at time even with the city guards. He two brothers early noticed the young lad had a keen ability to get in and out of places, where they themselves have grown either too large or simple was not able to enter. They therefore taught young Kallan how to move around the alleys unseen. They also taught the young asprining thief how to handle himself if a fight broke out and his quick fingers quickly became adept with a knife.
Over the years he refined his knife wielding abilities to such an extent, that the other boys in the neighborhood gave him the nickname “Viper”, a name his adopted as his own.
One night long ago tragedy struck the little family. Kallans mother had taken ill from filth fever and within a fourth night she passed away, leaving the house without a caretaker and without someone to care for the children. His brothers started to roam the streets more often, Kallans dad almost never came home but spent the night with paid women or in tavern rooms till he passed out and slept in the gutter. Kallans three sisters also left the home and took up jobs in the street, selling themselves for the highest bidder, or at times just for a warm bed. Kallen himself was mostly left to himself. He often got into self provoked trouble. The mere attention made Kallan feel alive and gave him a respectable reputation among his elders. At night time he found shelter either in the family house, which was quickly falling into ruins, or in whatever alley that suited for the night.
Since reaching adulthood Kallan, have been in and out of prison a number of times. He has also been involved in a number of shady operations, which includes pity theft, burglary and to some extend even violence. His name Viper are all too familiar with the local enforce and his abilities with the blade are becoming somewhat renowned.
Kallan is a product of his society, a rude mean looking follow that basically trust no one but himself. He believes that the world is a wicked place and the only way to survive in such one has to be even meaner. This is however only his attitude on the outside. Beneath the by now cool hard shall of a man, beats a heart of hope and dreams. A heart he suppresses to avoid falling victim to the streets of Riddleport. When alone and at night he imagines a world outside the ports, all those marvelous place especially seaman brag about, having visited. He is a man of deep emotions, but tries not to let anyone close enough to learn about his true nature. To his follow street thugs Kallan is somewhat an enigma, at one point an excellent thief but as a friend and participant in the thugs daily activities at taverns and Kallan reframe himself from being a part of gambling, drinking and occasional visit to the brothel. Kallan never drinks alcohol claiming it to be the drink of the devil.
Kallan stands an impressive 5’10”, slim and very agile weighing in around 180 lbs. His dark face is dominated by a large hooked nose almost giving him a raven like appearance. Kallan has dark brown dirty hair falling down past his shoulders and equally dark deep set eyes. He is dressed in ragging leathers, heavy pants and boots that have seen its best day years ago. His waist is dominated by a large girdle like leather belt with a huge metal belt buckle in the middle. On either side of are two long knives sheeted in scabbards. On Kallans back flows a dark midnight colored cloak with a hood large enough to cover his face.

When I first looked at the list, I realised that 3 of the 4 full BAB classes submitted were fighters. I thought about changing my submission to a barbarian (possibly urban) for sake of variety but I think I'm going to keep Grey as a fighter moving on to Stalwart Defender.
I think fighter just fits better with the initial setting and is easier to work in, background/storywise, with other characters than the barbarian. Also, I prefer the variety of options it gives over the barbarian anyways.
In any case, especially if the group size is 6, having more than one fighter is hardly a detriment.
I'm also leaning more towards human than dwarf and am leaving off on archetypes until the group is assembled.

I think a thing that a lot of people forget is that there's room for a lot of variance within the classes even before you factor in the archetypes. It's just a case of are you willing to go with something that goes against what is typical. I tend to build high DEX fighters with mediocre STR and CON scores. Heck, even my only barbarian character has physical scores of 14, 16, 14 (STR, DEX, CON). I'm in a game where there two groups running the same module, both have Clerics with the Mecriful Healer archetype. Both are very different in play style. TL;DR I see no problem with having a bunch of fighters sign up. Just as long as they all aren't 16 15 14 8 12 8 builds.

I am also a sucker for lists and what I found from the previous list that struck me a bit odd was the races. I am currently playing PFS and you hardly ever see an elf (-constitution simply hurts too bad)
Here we have
4 Elves
3 Humans
2 Tieflings
2 ½Orcs
1 ½elf
(unless I missed someone)
where are all the small races ½ling, gnome even Dwarf ;-)
Also I always split the classes up in three parts Pure SpellCasters, Semi and none (old Rolemaster habit)
We got 5 pure, 5 none and 3 semi
That seem very balanced actually and those 8 spell casters (didn't incl. the ranger) is 5/3 in arcane favor - again well balanced.
When all that is said and done - there are currently 12 people applying (well 11 since Talant'edhel is automatic) but it gives Nayr with a great selection. And to be honest its really lots of fun reading all your strange application and its tons of ideas to build on. Looking forward to the selection process

Agreed...it's a troublesome process. On another site, I had so many good applications that I started two groups at the same time. Holy cow was that a bad idea...hadn't a clue how much more time it would take.
I apologize in advance to anyone not taken; they're all excellent apps, but I can only have so many.

Did you follow Lucendar's Survival PbP selection process by any chance? He accepted all comers for about a week - had 18 in all. The first phase of the game was a deadly contest with traps, trials, and PVP to whittle the group down to 5. An amazing effort by Lucendar. And I think those who did not make the final 5 were mostly happy with the chance they had and got to play for a while. DM did a fantastic job being objective too.

Thanks for issuing and then answering your own questions, everyone. Yes; 2 traits, 1 of which must be a campaign trait. Yes, 20 pt buy. Yes; spot now equates to perception. Give me a bit on the track; Ineed to check that. No restrictions on equipment, though if it's quite silly, then I'd expect you to RP why or how you have it. That's half the fun of a good item, anyway.
Sorry for the delay, but the thread setups won't come until tomorrow. Husbandly duties...
