Appearance: Grey stands 6' even with black hair, brown eyes and clean shaven. His skin tone is slightly on the pale side though his cultural heritage is unknown. His exact age is uncertain but it's unlikely he's over 20.

Story: Being an orphan in Riddleport is hardly an unusual thing. Orphans not surviving into adulthood isn't that unusual either. Banding together for mutual protection was fairly common and names, typically not knowing what yours was, were used as little more than conviniences and points of reference to be used and discarded as needed.

Thievery, in its myriad forms, was an easy path to fall into but one that rarely produced beneficial results. Pharasma help you should you pick the wrong mark or, worse, interfere with a professional thief at his work. That's a good way to wake up in the morning and find you've contracted a bad case of dead.

In any case, thievery did not have the thrill for him that it did for his "friends" many of whom died off over time often from just making a single mistake (frequently the result of wasting money away on bad ale and worse whores). Survival is the name of the game and while money is a means to it, it isn't the only way. Besides, drawing too much attention to yourself is a bad idea unless you have strong friends.

Unfortunately, Riddleport does not reward the idle. With his childhood companions gone and being better in a scrap than at thievery he was at a loss for what to do. A name change was in order and he finally settled on "Grey" as a good name (being both innocuous and lacking in any real meaning). The most interesting person he's met is an elf from, supposedly, the other side of the world named Red Cherry Blossom. This always struck him as an extraordinarily odd name but then, perhaps that was the point. In any case, she's someone who knows things and that's a good way to stay alive.

In general, Grey is wary around people he doesn't know. This is more a reflex of his upbringing than any distrust on his part. Despite his upbringing he's fairly cheerful now that he feels old enough and confident enough to protect himself (more or less). He's seen too many people worry and fret their way to an early grave to not try and enjoy life. Hard lessons have been learned but why struggle if you never take the time to enjoy the benefits of it?
