Pounce

Rules Questions

When a tiger uses pounce, does it get the +2 to hit charge bonus on all of its attacks or only the first one.

It would seem that it is just the first attack, as was specified in a recent FAQ thread about the Rage Pounce ability that barbarians can get.

? You talking about the Lance?

That was for the charge multiplier for the pouncing rider.

AFAIK, the charge bonus to hit lasts for the whole round, just like the AC penalty.

==Aelryinth

The charge bonus to damage on a lance was what was limited to only the first attack.

However, the wording in charge is singular for regular attack rolls. "You get a +2 bonus on the attack roll..." Note: Not "attack rolls". However, in the next sentence, it states that you get a +2 bonus to "combat maneuver attack rolls". So... *shrug*

At my table, we give the +2 attack bonus to all the attacks. We figure we ought to let the high level martial characters have something shiny.

Attack is singular in some cases because it assumes a standard player character without any special abilities. The tiger is charging for all the attacks, so they call get the bonus

All of the attacks.

You are extrapolating incorrectly. The tiger gets the benefit of charge on all attacks.
