The concept and personality traits are in my head, but I realized today I have no clue what race this guy is. It's never even crossed my mind. He was always just a style test, an imitation of Brad Wong, and a tribute to Bruce Lee. Human is obvious though I like the idea of almost everything else. He is not meant to be super he is meant to be a drunk so the way I see it there is no optimal choice on race. Please let me know if you have a race you like for this guy. Any suggestions are welcome as well as questions.

I agree, gotta be a dwarf. Even better, his racial stats will make your Con 18 so you can qualify for Fast Drinker; getting drunken ki as a swift action is pretty nice. Then you'll just need to convince your DM to let you have an Everfull Mug or a Decanter of Endless Beer made out of adamantine and you're set!
On that note, I have some bad news on the Crane feats; those all have Dodge as a pre-requisite feat. So even with taking Crane Style as a bonus feat, you couldn't use the other two Crane feats due to the lack of Dodge.

Either a Dwarf (drunkenness etc.) or a Vanara. I gotta admit, seeing one of those things drunk would be freakin' hilarious. Too bad there's no bear-race, because all I can think of when somebody says "drunken monk" is a panda by the name of Chen Stormstout, from one of the extra campaigns from this old RTS called Warcraft 3...
