I'm going to pull out too. A game a friend is running is going to start soon, and since you don't like Summoners, I won't make you run for one. Not my style.

Thanks for the consideration.

*Raises hand* If it is not too late I would like to offer a character.

Suny

*Bows* For your consideration.

Most excellent. Level her up to 5.

Between projects, polishing off the character and getting a coherent background together is taking a bit longer than intended, but just voicing that I am very much still interested.

*Salutes* Aye Aye Cap'n! (^_^)

Uhm...where does we do th' HitPoint rollin' an' such-like?

Also, as a side note, how are ye leanin' t'wards things like "Elven Curved Blades" and such...?

Much cheers t'ye an' yours.

Roll them here.

Only if the blade is magical. If it isn't, it'll rust.

I'd be very interested to join in this game. How does a Merfolk Cleric of a deep "god" (as described at the bottom of the Merfolk fluff) sound? I'll have a character build up in a bit.

*Nods* Aye, were thinkin' o' spendin' th' coin' t' be havin' the blades an' such made out'a extra shiny stuffs. (^_^)

Thank'e fer that. *Bows*

It were the weapon types whut I been interested in. Were ye allowin' "Racial" style weapons an' kit as such?

Hit Points:

Fighter: 3d10 + 3 ⇒ (6, 3, 8) + 3 = 20

Bard: 2d8 + 2 ⇒ (3, 6) + 2 = 11

Total: 31

Edit: Also, here be anuther question...How are we doin' fer 'Traits'? Two to start off with? Or none a-tall? Jus' won'erin'. (^_^)

Much cheers t' ye an' yours.

Sounds good.

Yes, I am allowing racial weapons.

Are you guys willing to hold off on this for a week and a half? Hopefully I'll be getting a great underwater sourcebook that'll help out with running this.

Dark Archive

May or may not join this. Can I be a grindylow, and if so can I rearrange my stats?

O'course I c'n be patient fer ye, Mistres DM, Ma'am. (^_^)

There be th' season o'cheer upon us an' all sorts o' festive spirits in'a air.

Wishin' very one th' very best fer th' times. (^_^)

Also, um, about 'Traits? >_>

(monkeyfeet)So this is the first Pathfinder character I've ever made so please tell me if it's screwed:

Kyron

5d8 + 5 ⇒ (6, 2, 5, 1, 3) + 5 = 22

I'm perfectly fine with waiting :) Oh and I have a profile picture for this character somewhere but it'll be a little while before it makes it on (late tonight, maybe tomorrow)

Oh and the write up for the god will be forthcoming

First attempt at a deity.

Scalmosh

God of war, vengeance, wrath, and darkness.

Followers of Scalmosh believe that in the long forgotten, when the serpents ruled the humans, merfolk lived on land. Some of these snake-people had built communities with the land-dwellers (mostly elves) however, living peacefully as equals and they interbred. Then a great war broke out between the humans and their serpentine overlords. When the war broke out, humans turned on their allies and drove them out. Unaccepted by either faction, theses hybrids were almost exterminated completely until a hero rose. Deep Lord Scalmosh laid a plan, and the collection of merfolk left fought their way to the sea slaying many treacherous dryfolk in their path. When they reached the sea, Deep Lord Scalmosh communed with the gods and they told his people to go deep into the sea where they would be safe. As the merfolk prepared for what would be a long journey down, the dryfolk in one last act of betrayal set siege upon the merfolk camp. Empowered by the gods Scalmosh held back the dryfolk long enough for the merfolk to make it to the safety beneath the waves whereupon they found themselves transformed. Deep Lord Scalmosh's body was cast to the sea by the treacherous dryfolk where it sank to the very bottom, the Deep Blackness. To this day, he still lives, down at the deepest point in the sea, planning his vengeance, with his new life (some say given by the twisted energies of the Deep Blackness, others say it was through his sheer force of will, and still others claim strange beings at work down below) as a god in mortal coil. One day, his followers believe, he shall rise up and take them back to the surface where they will reap their bloody revenge.

Worship of Scalmosh is written off by many as superstitious and even crazy but still manages a large enough following among the common merfolk that most have passing familiarity. Deeper down, where the merfolk have been tainted by the darkness below, Scalmosh's worship is much more commonplace. Those that do worship Scalmosh generally do so by harassing surface dwellers, usually leaving them out in the middle of the sea to fend for themselves (where they almost invariably perish). Sacrifices of food, jewels, and on special occasion, dryfolk blood are also common, usually thrown into the deepest darkest trench available. Worship of Scalmosh is open to any who wish to join, given that followers feel it is the birthright of all merfolk.

The priests of Scalmosh have an unspoken instated hierarchy based on how far back one's family lineage of priesthood can be traced. The priests themselves are known as Speakers and they are generally considered more than a little "eccentric."

Domains - Darkness, Chaos, War, Destruction, Glory

Alignment - CN (I couldn't really place him as "good" or "evil," from the perspective of those on land, he'd be evil, but from the perspective of those actually worshiping him, he's a savior, so I figured I'd call it a wash and say neutral)

Wow this thing is quite a bit longer than I originally thought. If any part of it doesn't fit the setting (or for any other reason), you have full license to dissect as you will Madam GM.
