They used a script to create the hyperlinks in the APG (and possibly with other books?). As you noted, the script created a large number of spurious hyperlinks, particularly with respect to linking particular words to corresponding one-word spells or feats (e.g. "poison" linking to the spell "Poison", "mount" linking to the spell "Mount", etc.).

I attempted to make a thread about this, but then found out I need to post here, so here:

Hey, I first off want to say I LOVE the new PRD, and have a hotlink to it that I use at every game I run now. The spell list and spell class list is invaluable during a game. Instead of flipping through books wonder what where that particular spell is or what book its in to begin with, I just click it...and done.

Anyways, I had a few of my own ideas.

1 - The ability to sort out the spell list by school. Just like you have level on there, I want to be able to see all but Illusion, or only Evocation spells. Just thought it would be extremely helpful.

2 - A monster list. I know I've read somewhere that there are plans for this one already, I just wanted to list so that way people saw that there is a demand for it. And if you are going to make a monster list here a few request for it.
- The ability to search by CR
- The ability to search by monster type
- The ability to search by terrain
- A summon monster section that already has the summoned monster with template added. Then hot link the summons monster table to said creature.

I desperately need a way to view the non-mobile PRD on a mobile device. Besides the fact that Navigation almost never works on my ios5 iPhone, I can't use any of the zoom features that make reading charts and such far easier.

I even tried using UserAgent Faker to trick your mobile PRD site to think I'm using Chrome or Firefox on a non-mobile device to no avail. Your PRD still forces me into the mobile version. So my only option left is to appeal to you to add a tiny link to view the non-mobile PRD on my mobile device.

A little outside of the PRD site itself, has there been any consideration of creating either a PRD API, so people could query for PRD data from other applications, or a more machine friendly representation of the PRD so it could be downloaded and processed by peoples tools?

Scraping the HTML is possible, but it's also a real pain when attempting to identify rules, headers, titles and such.

The PRD is created using a crazy pipeline of tools and doesn't really live in a database in a useful form. Scraping the HTML is actually your best bet at this time.

Also, hyperlink-bot managed to recognize flight in Organization as flight universal monster quality. Which is not completely wrong because the lovely brain ooze does fly.

Yeah, not seeing anything weird here in firefox 10.0 and Safari. It has to be something else that died or it might be something to do with the compression combined with caching. We compress a lot of our web pages by default and that's the only way I can think of something weird happening on that end. If you can clear your cache and let me know if you are still seeing it, I'd appreciate it. I'll also check on IE and firefox 3 when I get home.

Okay not a cache thing because clearing it on the system in question didn't help. Though it does seem to be somthing on my end as I switched systems and updated to firefox 10 and now its perfectly viewable...thanks for looking into it though now it looks like I have some trouble shooting to do..where did I leave my shotgun and spare laptop laucher....hmmm
