When I gm a scenario, I can get credit for a character of mine. Do I need to just need to fill out the chronicle sheet for that character as normal like he played through the scenario?

Yes. No day job roll and none of the boons if there are any on the Chronicle.

Ok, thanks.

Do I need to create a new event in order for a character to receive the credit on the website for the scenarios that I GM?

Yes. If you do not create an event and report it, it will not show up on the site. Also, you might want to review pages 28 and 29 of the Guide, as they cover this information as well.

Yes in that you should be reporting your events, and there is a place for you to report which of your characters should get a credit in the form for submitting a report now. I noticed this change just before Gen Con when I reported a game from a couple weeks earlier. In the GM section, just include the character number.

Just so you are not Confused,

When you add your event for the Game you Ran, you add your Character Info for the character you want to get credit for at the Top of the reporting of the scenario, along with the other players that played. You do not create a New event just for your character your are giving GM credit for.

The events have been reported. I'm just trying to apply the gm credit to my characters.

Is there a way to get the credit after the event has been posted?

The Exchange 5/5

If you were the person who created the event you can open the event up, find the particular sessions and add your PC to the GM section. If you weren't the person who created the event you will need to contact him or her, provide them with the info and they will edit it in. If this was a big convention like GenCon you may not see all the sessions reported for a number of weeks. Any VC can help you in this regard.

When you pull up the event under your GM/Coordinator tab in the top right of the form is a Find # box. enter the number of the session you need to edit and add the information for the character that you want to apply the credit to.

Edit: Ninja'd by Doug: I assumed that you created the event.

Dark Archive 3/5

Ok, so I ran 2 scenarios at Paizocon, but didn't apply the credit to any of my characters yet. Hyrum, I guess, was the one putting in the info for those events. I can't remember who's responsible for PFS with Paizo since Hyrum left. So, who should I get in contact to gain the credit for my characters?

I'm pretty sure that the Venture captain in your area can make those edits. One will probably chime in in a minute to confirm that.

I guess, if this is the case, then I'll need the VC in Raleigh, NC to help me out at his convenience.

Email me the event id number, you pfs number and character number and faction. I can't fix it.

That would explain some of the sessions you have run...

Hahahaha. I just saw that I made a little typo there.

I can fix it. And I did :)

One minor question here, do you get GM credit for just the first time you run a module, every time you run a module, or just if you eat a module?

Must be careful with the choice of words module and scenario.

When you run a PFS Scenario you can get GM credit 1 time, even if you run it 5 times. Unless it's First Steps, then you can claim GM credit to a new character just like PCs can every time.

When you run a PFS sanctioned Module the answer varies. For the level 1 stuff (Master of the Fallen Fortress, We Be Goblins! and Godsmouth Heresy) you can claim GM credit to a new character just like Pcs can every time. For the rest it's only once.

Someone will be happy to correct me if I've got that wrong :)

Hope that helps!

We Be Goblins is not a Multi Credit scenario

So before this new guide came out, I hadnt realized GMs didnt get the boons from a chronicle.

Would that apply to the 'Ambush In Absolom' thing that appeared in Kobold Quarterly? The only thing on the sheet is the boon. No benefit for GMing the thing?

I believe that's the exception, godsDMit.

DMs pick up the Kobold sheet for running it, and can receive it as many times as they run it. The specifics are in the front of the file with the chronicle in it.
