Do you mean Eidolon? Because Summoner isn't 1/2'ed.

Eidolon can still be used at low levels as a normal Eidolon (melee if natural or manufactored/ranged if manufactored), but will progress slower from than on.
So about level 7, you'll start noticing a big difference.

Here you can get some info

Points distribution:
7,14,12,10,10,18
7,12,14,10,10,18
7,14,14,12,12,16

As a general rule, you don't need STR, you only care about CHA because:
1. gives more SLA uses
2. gives more spells

and you will need both of them with a MS.
Craft feats are interesting for a MS, expecially craft wands and rods (only for the metamagic rods, quicken and extend and reach are the most useful).

Do you mean Eidolon? If yes, inputs were given in the same thread with the link I've posted.

Halfling Master Summoner/Evolutionist(?) (swift as shadows racial ability)

STR 05
INT 14
WIS 07
DEX 16
CON 14
CHA 22 (with +2 headband)

Feats: Skill Focus: Stealth, Superior Summoning, Feat (if you can't pick take the Eldritch Heritage now then pick one at 9th)
7th level feat: Hell-Cat Stealth, then 9&11 Eldritch Heritage(shadow)

The idea is to be hidden a lot. Rely on Invis for now, but by 7th you should be able to hide in the light and by 11th in the shadows.

Eidolon: Small Biped, Skilled Evolution Stealth, UMD, Sleight of Hand; then either Gills, Climb or Scent. Feat: Skill Focus: UMD, Skills: Stealth +19(2ranks+3class+2DEX+4size+8racial), UMD +16 (2ranks+3class+0CHA+8racial+3feat), Sleight of Hand +15 (2ranks+3class+2DEX+8racial), Climb +6(1rank+3class+2STR), Swim +6 (1rank+3class+2STR).

The eidolon is a scout, party buffer via wands, can try to steal things (potions, wands, spell component pouches), aid other with a whip +1 (+2BAB+2STR+1size-4prof) or flank & assist (then likely die).

Everyone seems to think that it should be a small Eidalon.

It seems like it would be best out of melee, like aid another option,
Or UMD.

A small eidalon makes an excellent scout (as I showed), all the better considering it has telepathy and you can dimension door it to you.

If you make it small and skilled in stealth it can start with something like +20 stealth. Makes for a darn good spy.
